Standing before work that doesn’t just depict people it witnesses them.

@kandyglopez weaves dignity, vulnerability, and resilience into every thread. These fiber portraits feel like memory, testimony, and belonging all at once. Representation that doesn’t ask permission, only presence. City Girls and City Boys speak with strength and softness.🧵✨

Last Jewel of the year 💎 When your private life matches your public one, peace follows ✨ by @whataboutpre

2025 was not a straight line it was a sacred one. A year where my body changed more than once, where I gained and lost weight, received a fibroids diagnosis I didn’t ask for, and was laid off from work I thought would carry me longer. But God met me in every unraveling through community through people who prayed, listened, fed me, laughed with me, and reminded me who I was when I felt unsure. What felt like loss became alignment. What felt like interruption became instruction. In the middle of uncertainty, God gave me language, courage, and obedience to start my podcast ministry @gemstojewelspod to Jewels not from perfection, but from testimony. This year taught me that healing isn’t linear, provision isn’t always loud, and purpose doesn’t wait for comfort. I am ending 2025 grateful, refined, still standing, and deeply aware that God never left me he surrounded me💎 by @whataboutpre

Some art doesn’t ask to be understood, it simply asks you to feel. Standing before Hank Willis Thomas’ work, I felt joy, stillness, & the quiet reminder that we are many, yet 1 🖤✨ by @whataboutpre
