🍂 FALL-CODED BOOK RECS 🍂

The second the temperature drops approximately three degrees, I’m legally required to make everything about fall. Sorry, I don’t make the rules. 😂

Well. That fucking wrecked me. 🫠

Childhood friends to lovers. Right person, wrong time. “I’ll wait for you.” Second gen. Accidental pregnancy. A man who has been absolutely PATHETIC for his girl since he was approximately nine years old.

@sarahabaileyauthor really looked at me and said, “You wanted to feel something today, right?”

Allie and Archer have basically been soulmates since birth, but unfortunately life, dreams, distance, and their own self-sacrificing bullshit keep getting in the way. Watching them grow up together, fall in love approximately 700 times, and continually choose each other even when they thought they couldn’t actually BE together??? SICK AND TWISTED.

And THE YEARNING. My god. These two are thousands of miles apart trying to live separate lives while being so obviously, disgustingly, catastrophically in love that everyone with functioning eyeballs knows it.

Then we threw an accidental pregnancy into the emotional blender and I, personally, was DELIGHTED. Archer immediately entering “whatever Allie needs, Allie gets” mode??? Sir. He entered this earth in search of that woman and has apparently not known peace since.

The angst hurt. The spice SPICED. Yes, mirror scene, I am looking directly at you. The birth scene emotionally assaulted me. And all the second-gen found family moments and cameos, especially Daddy Everett, were just the final nail in my coffin.

Messy. Raw. Heartbreaking. Horny. Devastatingly romantic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sarah has once again collected my five stars AND my emotional stability.

✨ AUGUST READING RECAP ✨

I read A LOT less than I normally do this month because my brain simply refused to cooperate. I would pick up a book, read approximately seven pages, stare into the distance, open Instagram, and repeat the process. 😂

BUT I survived. I finished some books. I found a few gems. And honestly? Sometimes reading less is just part of being a reader, even if looking at my monthly total makes me want to whisper, “who even are you?”

Here’s hoping September brings cooler weather (please dear mother nature bring cooler weather), an aggressively good TBR, and the return of my ability to inhale books like they’re a basic human necessity. 🤞🏻

Happy National Dog Day to the good boys, good girls, and tiny furry menaces who have never paid a bill in their lives yet somehow own the entire house. 🐶🖤

Naturally, I’m celebrating the only way I know how: with fictional men who are absolutely, embarrassingly obsessed with their dogs.

So please enjoy a few of my favorite Dog Daddies because a man being hot is great, but a man who has a ridiculous nickname for his dog and talks to them like a tiny human??? Immediate five stars.

A little peek at some of the book mail that has shown up on my doorstep recently thanks to some VERY generous authors. 🥹📚💌

Getting surprise book mail will quite literally never get old. The books! The goodies! The pretty editions! The immediate need to reorganize my entire TBR!

Forever grateful to the authors who think of me and send their book babies my way. My shelves may be begging for mercy, but I certainly am not. 😌

🌻 COVER REVEAL TIME! 🌻

Guys. The literal gasp that left my mouth when I saw this. I literally screamed at @authoravahunter and demanded the rest of the covers immediately. She politely told me to hold my horses. 😂

LOOK AT HOW GORGEOUS THE NEW COVER FOR TAME THE HEART IS!

The Runaway Ranch series is one of my all time favorite cowboy romance series and Tame The Heart is the book that made me obsessed with Ava as an author and the fact that I get to work with her now makes me want to pinch myself on the daily.

This gorgeous baby is releasing on January 19 and I can’t wait to throw all of my money away on it. 😭 by @whatambersreading_
