✨🎙️ MY FAVORITE ICONS: PHYLICIA RASHAD & DEBBIE ALLEN! ❤️👏🏾

What a GREAT interview on Higher Ground, Michelle Obama and her brother’s podcast! 🙌🏾 I loved hearing Phylicia Rashad and Debbie Allen talk about their lives, their journeys, and their incredible accomplishments. Two phenomenal women who have made such a lasting impact on entertainment and generations of people! 👑✨

One quote from their mother really stood out to me:

“The scariest thing in the world is being ignorant.”

WHEW! 💯 That is SO true, especially with everything happening in the world today. There is so much power in knowledge, education, and being willing to learn. We have to stay informed, ask questions, and never stop growing. Sometimes, the most dangerous thing isn’t what we don’t know—it’s refusing to learn.

🎧 A truly inspiring conversation with two legendary women! If you haven’t listened yet, add this one to your list!

🎓✨ A DIFFERENT WORLD — THE NEW GENERATION is now streaming on @netflix!

As someone who LOVED the original A Different World, I was really curious to see what this new generation would bring. The original was such a classic, so I’m hoping this new generation does it justice while bringing the story into the times we live in today. ❤️

After watching the first episode, I’m already seeing some familiar energy! 😂 Whitley’s daughter is giving me her mom, Whitley Gilbert, and I LOVE it! ❤️ You can definitely see that same confidence, style, and personality coming through.

And Ron! 😂 He has not changed! He still likes being the man, and now he’s raising his son, Shaquille, to be just like him. 👀😂

And seeing Debbie Allen back at Hillman is everything! She returns as Dr. Langhorne, bringing that familiar straight-talk and tough-love energy we remember. ❤️

But what I’m really loving is seeing some of the other original characters make their comeback with the same personalities we remember! 😂❤️ It makes the reboot feel connected to the original while introducing a whole new generation.

So far… SO GOOD! I’m definitely going to keep watching to see where this new generation takes us.

WOW. WOW. WOW. 😳 This season finale had everything—intense action, high-stakes decisions, and then that BIG REVEAL at the end?! 😱

That ending shocked the hell out of me! I literally sat there like, “Oh my gosh… WHAT?!” 😂 I cannot believe they left us with that and now I have to wait until next season!

This is exactly why I love a good series finale—when you think you know what’s happening, they hit you with something completely unexpected. 🔥

🐌🎬 MEMOIR OF A SNAIL is now streaming on @hulu! 🐌❤️

This one was a recommendation from my daughter @pengnail, and I finally gave it a watch!

This is definitely adult animation—a stop-motion film with a very unique style that follows Grace, a lonely woman who finds comfort in collecting snails, romance novels, and little treasures while navigating some of life’s difficult moments. Along the way, an unexpected friendship gives her a little hope. 🐌❤️

I actually really enjoyed the fact that this felt like an adult animated film rather than the typical animation we’re used to seeing. It’s quirky, dark, funny, emotional, and surprisingly touching.
