Mail Call 📫

It was nearly a year ago I ordered my first Proper Cloth shirt and I’ve loved that one ever since! The cool thing is, they keep your specs on file so each new shirt ordered fits exactly right. I’d venture to guess this one is no different!
Ordered The Jackson this time with a western cut and pearl snaps, really dig it!
Also, their packaging is impeccable making the whole experience top notch! 🙌🏻

Theater Day 🎭

Taking Sunday to volunteer at my local community theater today. This month’s production is “Clue” and also the final performance today.
Fun fact I’ve been a member of this theater company since 2008 performing both on stage and behind the scenes roles. While I am managing front of house today I also helped costume the show!

Today 🎃

Was pumpkin patch day. However it was blowing and hot. So decided with heavy/light. Heavy denim, linen shirt. Pumpkins were indeed picked either way!
Afternoon brought a cemetery tour, which is always interesting. Perfect mid-October afternoon! Again it’s my favorite month!
Next weekend, Ren Fest!

October 🍂🎃

My favorite month. Least of which it was my birthday this weekend! Celebrated by doing all the Oktoberfest things🍻! I’ll likely put some of that in my stories.

Parking

Lot fit. A mostly uneventful weekend and really a much needed recharge. Celebrated my mother’s birthday this morning with brunch, and otherwise had a mostly easy day.
This is easily one of my favorite mid-season shirts from Proper Cloth. So much so, I have another on order!

Easy

Saturday fit. Last night I caught a local band and had to buy their tshirt. I don’t wear graphic tees often, but this one is pretty cool. The name and the artwork come from a 50s neon sign that still stands today! Also the proceeds went to a good cause.
Rough week otherwise, and glad it’s over. I’m still wearing the boot for work and longer walks, but the foot is getting better! Can get out of it for pics anyway! Two more weeks and I can lose it for good!

Inspiration ✨

This fit is isn’t something I would have ever considered until I saw my friend @charmcityprep pair a shirt and tie under a union suit, flight suit, onesie, whatever you’d like to call it. I got out of my comfort zone…And I thought it was -fantastic- ! Either way, I don’t get near as much wear out of the one I have, so here’s the result!

Follow up 🔁

Things are aligning nicely today, temps are in the 60s this morning, I got the new-to-me jacket, and some heavier denim. Might as well put it all together, right?
The RGT jacket got some MAD love the other day (over 5k views! Omg thank you!) and I really didn’t get a chance to put a fit together. So let’s try for dark today. Vidalia Indigo selvedge, stealth black jacket, black mocs, a little color with a hat, study white tee, and neckerchief.
Feeling brave enough to get out of the 🩼 boot at least for short walks.

Transitions

I really don’t ascribe to the “no white after Labor Day” rule. Wear what ya want when ya want and whatever is comfortable. Well white jeans it was today and a new flannel from Toad & Co. a little summer to fall. Temps are supposed to drop after today, so here’s manifesting it!

Mail call! 📫📦

Super excited to get a package from a seller on @poshmark. It’s kinda rare I find a Rogue Territory jacket that’s my size. When I saw this one i knew I had to have it! I usually wear a Large in most jackets, but RTGs run small so I have to size up to an XL, and what do you think? I think the fit is pretty spot on! Now the temps really need to cool off so I can wear my new to me Stealth Supply Jacket.

Day off

Felt a little like fall this morning and the perfect time to break out this new Gustin hoodie! It arrived mid-summer, naturally too hot to wear, but with morning temps in the high 50s it was perfect! Love the indigo contrasted with the white zipper.
Needed to take a midweek day to get my mother to her eye dr appt. Naturally while she was having a cataract removed I had to get a fit check in. I was also brave enough to get out of the boot even if temporarily. Foot is healing slowly but surely!
