🚨 PANEL ANNOUNCEMENT !! 🚨

To celebrate our first event of the new season, we’ll be following this panel with a no-corkage dinner. As always, the panel is free to attend and open to all. The dinner is ticketed separately by Amara. You are welcome to attend either or both portions of the event. Please register separately for each.

The Panel (free to attend)

On Monday 19th October we’ll be kicking off the 2026/7 season by asking our expert panelists to look back on the past year: what went well, and where were the challenges? And what do they foresee for the season ahead? What will be the drinks trends to expect, and how are restaurants adapting?

We’re excited to hear from:

* Daniel Allen - Sales Manager at Winebow Fine Wine and Spirits
* Chris Birnie-Visscher - South Florida & Puerto Rico Sales Manager at Vineyard Brands
* Jason Gaeten - The Grape Ape
* David Mokha - South East Director at Patz & Hall

The discussion will be moderated by Sarah Phillips, founder of Wine Talks Miami, South Florida’s wine trade network.

The Dinner (7pm - Register separately)
This is an opportunity to catch up with wine trade friends before season gets busy. Bring a bottle (or two) to share and enjoy a family style dinner at Amara.

This portion of the event is kindly ticketed & managed by the awesome team at Amara. (To keep costs approachable, WTM does not take profits.)

You are welcome to attend either or both parts of the event! We hope to see you on Monday! @quepasamanda taken in Amara at Paraiso by @whatsarahdrinks

BUNBURY this week 🍷 After seven cities across six states, a journey celebrating South American wine across the U.S. made its final stop here in Miami — at Bunbury. We had the pleasure of welcoming @amanda_wine and @whatsarahdrinks into our house, together with @southamericawineguide and @fiftyonenorthhq , bringing Miami’s wine community together for an afternoon of incredible wines, stories, food and conversation. For the past 12 years, Argentine wine culture has been part of the story we’ve been building at Bunbury, which made hosting this experience especially meaningful to us. Amanda & Sarah — thank you for trusting our house and sharing this moment with our community. ❤️ From South America to Miami. taken in Bunbury Miami by @whatsarahdrinks

THANK YOU MIAMI 🙌🌴

It was an honour to share so many wonderful South American wines with such a great group of sommeliers, retailers and media on Monday. We couldn’t have chosen a better city to conclude our whirlwind tour of the US — after a brilliant two weeks visiting DC, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Austin, and St Pete and meeting over 300 wine professionals along the way.

Thank you to our generous Miami hosts @bunburymiami & our brilliant team on the day @see_graygray @gracefulgrapes @emmaylaluna Lis and Amelie, and to @soyfedelucena for capturing it all on camera 🍷

If you missed us this year, or simply want to come back for another round of South American wine, please follow us and the links in our bios to sign up for announcements about the 2027 US tour, including new city stops...

Hasta la próxima!

The wine world is pretty amazing. It’s actually wild when I think about the number of people who have been so generous with their time, wine, and moral support over the past few years – with no reason other than good will. This thing has been fun at times, but also extremely stressful and difficult in ways I didn’t understand when I started. So thank you to all who have been so supportive. They say it takes a village. I say it takes a grand crew. (I’ll see myself out...) xx

(For those unfamiliar with the process – this means that I have passed the MW exams and now need to write a research paper before wrapping up. Onward!) by @whatsarahdrinks

I tried to take notes. I really did. But sometimes (and especially on a Friday) you just want to get into it. Anup’s Suchots for whatever reason (ok, yum) got the most complete sentence before the notes app was abandoned (“Wow so pretty, defined, vibrant, elegant. So pure. Lifted pure perfume WOW WOW WOW”) lol.

Austin served the Heidseick coteaux blind, prompting us to debate which burgundy village it was from for a several solid minutes. Not a soul said Chanpagne. VERY pretty red fruit. Lovely wine. Obviously the 02 Musigny (which I have been lucky to taste twice before) was outrageous and remains one of the greatest bottles ever. Thank you Alex! Henry brought an 01 Rammonet that showed what white burg can be when it ages well (and is stored properly). And the 61 Tondonia brought by Jason showed how those can go on forever. Ridiculous.

We took the 04 Ronchi Di Cialla Refosco Mag — a beautifully complete gem, drinking perfectly, and the de fargues Sauternes 04 (Yquem family!) which I would like to drink again and again with that INSANE basque cheesecake omg.

And on that note: if you haven’t been to @edan.bistro yet, DO IT. Absolutely killer basque cooking. Aitor & team: thank you for an incredible dinner. (It’s next door to Cotoa, so that area is becoming very exciting!!)

SO many more wines I could mention — thank you to a lovely group for sharing so generously. This is why we love wine!!!
