We hit 10K.
On Christmas Eve.
🎶 Cue the carols, cue the confetti, cue me dramatically tearing up while wrapping my last-minute gifts. 🎶

Truly feeling like “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” because 10,000 of you chose to follow along, support a small business, share our posts, shop small, and hype us up through the busiest (and sparkliest) season.

I am so grateful, so full-hearted, and just a tiny bit emotional - blame the holiday spirit. ✨

Thank you for being here and believing in Whatsoever Things. You are truly the best gift.

Stick around - we’ve got so much more coming in the new year, and trust me…you won’t want to miss it. 💜🎄

🌸✨ Hello, September! ✨🌸

Since it’s the start of a fresh month, I figured it’s the perfect time to say hi and reintroduce myself for any new faces around here!

👋 I’m Julie – founder, creative, and (let’s be honest) professional plate-spinner behind Whatsoever Things.
What started as a love for monograms and pretty details turned into a full-blown business that has now celebrated 10 years (yes, we’re double digits!).

🎂 This summer was extra special: I turned 5️⃣0️⃣ in August (still wrapping my head around that) AND Whatsoever Things turned 1️⃣0️⃣ in July. It’s been a season of gratitude, reflection, and LOTS of cake.

💌 What you’ll find here:
• Personalized gifts that make everyday moments feel special
• Monograms on just about anything that sits still long enough
• A mix of personalized gifts, Texas, Taylor Swift, and a dash of humor
• Behind-the-scenes chaos (with Ellie, our VP of Security, always supervising 🐾)

🎀 Fun facts:
• I’m a Texas girl through and through
• I unwind with a needlepoint project almost every night 🪡 (and yes, I have way too many canvases to ever finish in a lifetime!)
• My favorite part of this job is seeing YOU use and gift Whatsoever Things in your everyday life

✨ Coming up this fall: more pop-ups, new designs, and plenty of fun surprises. ✨

Thanks for being here - whether you’ve been with us since day one or just found us yesterday, I’m so glad you’re part of this community! 💖

👉 Drop in the comments: where are you following from & how long you’ve been here?

Halloween today, Thanksgiving tomorrow... well, not quite, but you know how quickly the holidays sneak up on us! 🎃🍂

Our personalized faux pumpkins are perfect for adding a little something special to your Thanksgiving table, entryway, or even your hostess gifts. Customize them with a family name, monogram, festive phrase, or even a pet silhouette. And since they're reusable, you can bring them out year after year!

We've got multiple sizes and colors to choose from, so whether you're decorating the whole table or adding a little personalized touch to each place setting, there's plenty of room to get creative.💜

I had so much fun helping out Heather with Leetie Lovendale at Dallas Market Center! It's always a treat getting to spend time at market, catch up with familiar faces, meet new friends, and see all the beautiful things everyone has been working on.

I also got to spend some time with the lovely ladies of Lavender Thorne, which made the week even sweeter!

Thank you, Heather, for letting me be part of the fun! Until next time! 💜

A few friendly reminders as we head into the busiest time of the year! 💜

💌 Email is our ONLY form of communication for orders! Please do not send order requests or questions through text messages or social media DMs.

🎀 Double-check your personalization details! When placing an order, please make sure you've entered all names, initials, colors, and other customization details for each individual item in your cart.

🪡 Christmas finishing deadlines are coming up! Stand-up finishing must be received by November 1, and all other finishing projects must be received by November 13 to guarantee Christmas arrival.

🎁 Plan ahead for custom monogram work! Personalized pieces take time, especially during the holidays, so please order early or reach out via email to discuss your project and timeline.

We're always happy to help, and we want your orders to turn out just as beautifully as you imagined! Thank you for helping us stay organized and for keeping us busy doing what we love.

And a huge thanks to all the boutiques we work with - new & “vintage” - YOU are what makes market worth all the work and schlep and effort every single time! 💕🙌

The holidays have a way of reminding us just how special our four-legged family members really are. 🐾

With our sweet Ellie no longer here to celebrate Christmas with us, these little dog ornaments feel a bit more meaningful this year. There's something so special about having a little reminder of the pups who fill our homes with love, whether they're curled up beside the Christmas tree or watching over us from above.

Our acrylic dog ornaments/wreath charms are such a sweet way to keep your furry friends close during the holidays. We have Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, Goldendoodles, Yellow Labs, Great Pyrenees, and Bernedoodles in various colors, with standing acrylic blocks available for your mantel, too!💜

Thank you all so much for the love, kind words, and sweet messages about our Ellie. 💜

It's been a tough few days, but reading through your messages and seeing how loved she was has meant more than you know. We truly appreciate every single one of you!

We're slowly getting back into the swing of things and are working through emails and orders as quickly as we can. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for giving us a little extra grace during this time.

We appreciate you all more than you know. ✨

Ellie, our forever VP of Security and now our guardian angel. 💜

It is with a very heavy heart that I share that our sweet Ellie passed away a few days ago.

If you've been around Whatsoever Things for a while, you know Ellie took her job very seriously. From supervising the packing table and thoroughly inspecting every order to making sure everything stayed on schedule, she was always right by my side. Of course, she expected to be paid in treats, and I was happy to oblige.

She was so much more than our head of security. She was my little sidekick, my constant companion, and such a special part of our everyday life.

Things around here are going to feel a little different without her watching over everything, but I'm so thankful for all the love, laughs, and memories she gave us.

Rest easy, sweet Ellie. You've officially been promoted to our guardian angel. We'll miss you more than words can say. 💜🐾 by @whatsoever_things

I have soooo many projects I have yet to share on this page that I’m equally thrilled about, but this one definitely blends into my personal life.

You might know that needlepoint is a big part of my life. I was talking yesterday with a needlepoint shop owner, and so much of our conversation was about how needlepoint isn’t just the art itself, it's the community that comes along with it.

I have gained so many friends through this hobby, and earlier this year I started helping Shannon, the founder of the Texas Canvas Crawl, with various things, one of them being design.

We talked through so many logos, designs, patterns, flyers, and so much more.

In our limited free time, we’d hop on Zoom calls to plan the event, and one thing that came out of it is our 2026 Texas Canvas Crawl boot needlepoint canvas.

To see my design on a canvas still feels a bit surreal, and I haven’t yet soaked it all in!

What I do know is that I was not the only person behind this canvas. There were sooo many others who made this happen including @whatsoever_things @speakeasyneedleworks @stitchlanendlpt and of course @ndlptshanny

I’m so grateful to all of these wonderful people for bringing this to life.

If you are a needlepointer who wants to get your hands on this canvas, I have the link to it in my bio along with our 2026 Texas Canvas Crawl tote bag. by @whatsoever_things
