How to even narrow it down, @art_toronto 2026 highlights #arttoronto #torontoart #torontoartist #torontolife #artcanada by @whatthehedon
A hedonist’s guide to November🍒🐆 The nights start earlier, the evenings stretch longer, we huddle indoors. Everywhere that eases you from fall anticipation to winter embrace. Think wood, candlelight, red wine and banquets to cozy up. The leaves may be settling into their winter slumber, but the arts are only just beginning to bloom. Gallery openings, exhibitions, and cultural programming are in full swing for those of us already resigned to remaining indoors until the trees bud once more. Your incentive to venture out before hibernation. #torontoguide #cityguide #torontorestaurants #torontoarts #todotoronto @linnysrestaurant @thekensingtontavern @sakaibarto @imanishijapanesekitchen @maventoronto @casapaco_to @greygardens199 @brasseriecoteannex @quatrefoilrestaurant @pinotgrouchios @greytigerto @civlibto @writersroombar @novacancyto @sliceoflifebar @anima___space @torontobiennial @torontosymphony @nationalballet @hamiltonpotters @mocatoronto @adfilmfest @agotoronto @kofflerarts @towards.info @olgakorpergallery @generalhardware @corkingallery @susanhobbsgallery @unitedcontemporary @patelbrowngallery @blouindivision @clintroenisch @bauxigallery @dfariagallery @mkg127 by @whatthehedon

Sunday Best: The Power & the Glory of Black Style explores how Black communities across the African diaspora have used fashion as a form of self-expression, from the tradition of dressing for Sunday service to contemporary style. Displaying historic garments, paintings and photographs from over a century and placing them in conversation with contemporary designers and artists. From abolitionist Frederick Douglass to Vogue’s first African-American male creative director André Leon Talley, and from archival pieces to designs by Christopher John Rogers, Spencer Badu and Greta Constantine. The exhibition delves into how style has shaped identity, challenged exclusion, and influenced the fashion world we know today. Now on view at the AGO until February 28th 2027. #torontoart #torontomuseum #torontoblogger #todotoronto #torontolifestyle by @whatthehedon
Is she hired? It felt very Hollywood editing the 45 minutes of footage my dedicated mother captured of her dinner at @the_pine . I wasn’t fortunate enough to crash my parents’ anniversary dinner this year, but thanks to her steady hand and cinematic angles, I didn’t miss a beat. She has a contemporary approach to food videography. I’ll be taking notes. The Pine was my favourite meal of 2025. Each course captivates visually before exceeding all expectations in flavour. It is gastronomic art in its fullest expression, excelling in technique, imagination, and taste. The front-of-house team completes the experience with genuine, attentive care, making you feel like a regular after a single visit. With one Michelin Star, a No. 19 ranking in Canada, and No. 48 in North America, The Pine is one of Ontario’s most extraordinary gastronomic destinations. #michelinstar #michelintoronto #torontoblogger #canadas100best #torontofoodie by @whatthehedon

30 days, 22 spots, a month spent enjoying the last of what summer had to offer. My favourite bites and sips of the month. Alsoooo introducing my September Table Report, a monthly newsletter where I share my unfiltered thoughts on everywhere I ate and drank. The good and the bad, what to order, what to expect, and what’s worth your time and money. Read the full report and subscribe for next month’s edition at the link in my bio. 🦓🍒 #torontofood #torontofoodblog #torontorestaurants #torontoblogger #torontofoodie by @whatthehedon
My second visit to Linny’s, and somehow even better than the first. Ice-cold martinis, jazz, velvet and burl wood. Every detail pays homage to Schwartz’s late mother, Linda. It’s officially my go-to for a chic night in the city, especially when friends are visiting from out of town and want a little New York glamour. We tried nearly all new dishes this visit. The kasha and bows let sweet corn shine, the summer cucumbers were refreshing and the dill was subtle, and the heirloom tomatoes with smoked crème fraîche had me dreaming of summer. The pastrami is delicious, but trust me, the half portion is plenty. We also caught Linny’s second anniversary menu. The clarified Caesar martini was dangerously drinkable (and is now a permanent fixture), while the lamb tortellini with chanterelles was autumnal comfort at its most elegant. Hot and cold desserts are my favourite, so we had to finish with the babka. Leave the ball cap at home, Linny’s is an excuse to dress up. ⭐️89 hedons #torontofoodie #torontofood #torontorestaurants #torontoblogger #michelintoronto by @whatthehedon
My ideal night: dinner and a show. Vancouver-based, Michelin-recommended @rileysfishandsteak has officially landed in Toronto, and their pre-theatre prix fixe makes the night complete. Three courses for $65, and treat yourself to the tableside martini. Martini’s poured tableside, prime rib carved to order and live music on weekends, you’ll be ready for curtain call. #torontofood #torontorestaurants #torontotheatre #torontoblogger #datenight by @whatthehedon
Two artists, two approaches to the body, land, memory and what we inherit. This fall at @mocatoronto Colombian artist Delcy Morelos and British-Indian artist Bharti Kher take over the Museum with immersive works that ask us to consider our relationship to the physical world. Morelos works with earth, corn roots and organic materials, creating sensory environments rooted in land, ritual and restoration. Kher’s surreal sculptures, and bindis on fragmented mirrors explore identity, mythology, perception and transformation. On view October 4–February 17 at MOCA Toronto. #moca #torontoart #todotoronto #torontolife #torontoblogger by @whatthehedon
