WHY, WHO & WHAT WE DO
A boutique interdisciplinary house for live theatre, performance and events. Born from the collective dream and the beauty of bringing things into being.

Raé, the Creative Anchor - moving between creative vision and reality. Always in dialogue with those who gather, move and make.

Behind the scenes, she anchors the ephemeral.
Offering project, production & stage management. by @whatwemade__

BLING!
Homecoming Centre (CPT) - Market Square (JHB)

A diamond, a courtroom, very important history and a whole lot to say! All brought to life by an all-female team, across two cities with plenty of sparkle.

Such a special team to be a part of 💎

Salon Kewpie: Legacy Ball

This year’s theme paid homage to Kewpie’s nights out at the Ambassador’s Club.
Bringing ballroom glamour, queer history and community back in to the room.

It was such a joy being back in the space with the teams from District Six Museum & GALA!

Even added a few handmade decor items… anything to add more pink 💗

Produced by @salonkewpie: The Legacy Project, in collaboration with @districtsixmuseum & the @gala_archive
Technical: Eastern Acoustics
Production Management: @whatwemade__ taken in District Six Museum by @whatwemade__

Jazzart Dance Theatre’s Meraki Dance Festival
@jazzartdancetheatre
@artscapetheatre

Joined the team in dual roles as both Technical Manager & Rehearsal Master… bouncing between tech cues, rehearsal rooms, warm-ups with dancers and the stage itself.

Meraki: creating with soul.
Bringing together emerging and established dance voices to share work, test ideas and spend time in community across the Arena and Main Theatre.

A very special moment for me this was attending the Jazzart Trainees graduation. Having been with them for the entirety of their 3 years. A full circle moment for all of us!
