If @wheelerj28 and I are going to give the boys their first concert, we might as well go big with @foofighters and @queensofthestoneage.

Phenomenal doesn't even begin to cover it!

The weekend was a top 10 core memory.

Riding the LRT for the first time, hitting @traqlabofficial simulators (highly recommend).

Stopping at @1061thegoatlloyd for a trip down memory lane 😘

We celebrated my brother-in-law Mikey's @eatsamore birthday at @osfcanada AND the staff completely crushed the service AND hello: @cinnzeobakerycafe YOU make an amazing cake!!

Getting to spend the afternoon with my sister-in-law!!! Love you Natalie 😍 kitten lashes and @nespresso for days!

And getting to see my soulsister @whitelakecabins for the first time in 4 years; my cup is completely full! I love you friend. Is it flat or round? 🤣🤣

They wait for the confidence, the perfect timing, or the guarantee that it will all work out. But you do not get the confidence first. You get it by stepping into the fire and proving to yourself that you can handle the heat.

At 45, I decided to train for my first bodybuilding competition from absolute zero weightlifting experience. Dave and I made the decision to pack up 14 years of our life and move. I show up on the mat and on the mic every single morning because I know what happens when you decide to stop negotiating with yourself.

You do not need a massive leap. You do not need to overhaul your entire life overnight.
You just need to pick the hard thing, put yourself on the line, and stack 1% daily effort without compromise.

Perfection is a cage. Direction is freedom.

I’ve been telling the safe version of my story for 25 years.

In this week’s podcast episode, we dive into why I left Winnipeg, the travel years in my 20s, and the journey that shaped so much of my life.

The second the mics stopped, I looked at Dave and realized something: I was telling the safe narrative. The comfortable version I’ve repeated for decades.

There is an entire layer underneath, experiences I held inside for years because of lingering shame and fear.

Finding your voice is a process, and being honest starts with making peace with your own past.
