Getting there meant crossing the river, carrying a lot of luggage and riding through more sand than the bikes were ready for. By sunset, we had the tents up, sausages over the fire and a quiet stretch of Lake Ladoga almost to ourselves. taken in Lake Ladoga by @wheels.on.waves

A few days on the road with friends, no strict schedule and a lot of random stops along the way. Long rides, small towns, empty roads, late sunsets, roadside food, getting lost, meeting people and changing the plan every few hours. Most of the best moments weren’t planned at all, which is probably why this trip still feels so good looking back at it. by @wheels.on.waves

Welcome: @wheels.on.waves 💨 The surf rack was never about making surfing more practical. It turns what could have been another familiar session into a small motorcycle trip, where the ride to the water becomes part of the day.

Now I keep looking at the coastline differently. There are places cars can’t easily reach, and the scrambler gives me an excuse to follow rough tracks, ride farther along the beach and search for new surf spots.

Most of those searches probably won’t lead to perfect waves. But finding a quiet beach, getting a little lost and turning an ordinary surf session into an adventure is already enough. by @wheels.on.waves
