Allie knows what it’s like to lose a parent. She’s always looked after LJ but we haven’t seen them connect through this common life experience. It was my season 12 wish, partly because that’s back when I found this song.

The artist wrote this song for her husband whose father passed away. If you listen closely at the end, his mom and his brother join her on the hums. The way everyone rallies to bring these stories to LJ just felt like the perfect fit I’ve been waiting for. So happy this song is finally having its moment.

You know the drill.

A #tuesdaythesetwo (if you will)
plus a Taylor Tuesday
plus a belated happy birthday to @wcthaesthetics who called out this magical lyric.

We love our rough and tumble little Mountie and the brainiac Mountie’s daughter.

Something about this bridge just wouldn’t let me go. All I could see was *BLENDING* Nathan and Elizabeth with Oliver and Allie.

This is my #lifeofashowgirl track 5 that got sidelined due to illness, multiple musical performances, general holiday chaos, and whatever else besieged me at the time my fine fellow creators posted all of theirs. 🤩 I couldn’t let the season 12 curtain go down without getting this last one in!

Happy Season Premiere tomorrow!

One week from right now, we’ll all be talking about what we liked about episode 1. Weird is wonderful.

Back for track 4! Father Figure works from so many perspectives so we thought we’d do them all. Here’s Elizabeth- specifically her ongoing instinct to protect Jack, Allie and Nathan. No one messes with her people. Leave it to her.

We’re back! Week 3 (and some change) means we’re dancing through the lightening strikes and I couldn’t think of anyone who makes their own sunshine better than Cadet Oliver Garrett, especially in his growing friendship with Allie. Ollie grinning at Nathan and Elizabeth in love is just about the cutest thing ever. It’s about time he gets the family and love he’s been craving. Can’t wait to see what he gets up to in season 13!

As always, please go watch the other fabulous edits with this song, starting with @wcthaesthetics This week we’re thrilled to welcome @hallmarkofmyheart along with our Swiftie to the core @team_p_hutton. Don’t miss their versions!

Welcome back to our Tuesday Taylor Takeover. We’re on track 2, Elizabeth Taylor, which of course we all hear in our heads as 📣“ELIZABETH THORNTON,” 📢 right?

As always, visit @wcthaesthetics for her part and we’re thrilled to announce a guest to the series, @team_p_hutton joining us for what we hope will be the first of many collabs.

Can’t celebrate this album without Hope Valley’s resident Showgirl now can we?

***Take two- due to technical difficulties🎵***

We’re back with a whole new album! That’s right, Abby said it’s time to get the band back together and I couldn’t agree more. Join us for the next 12 weeks on a journey track by track through The Life of a Showgirl with Tay’s hearties. This time around we may be featuring a few guest creators so you won’t want to miss it!

This week we dive into track 1 The Fate of Ophelia. 🌊 Elizabeth has certainly stared down the edge of madness and felt the pull of great love bringing her back from the brink. Don’t miss Abby’s @wcthaesthetics edit featuring the bridge of the song!
