Hello everyone!! I have so many new friends on here I thought I’d do another little intro and pin it to my page :)My name is Emma and I started booksta in April - the day of the Funny Story release!! I’m a 4th grade science/social studies teacher and I love showing all my kids that you can read for fun. I try and go to as many book related events in or near KC as I can!!Outside of reading I’m a big traveler, concert goer, and shopper. (Indie bookstores get all my money.) oh how i love when my niche’s intersectthis is the most detailed vinyl ive ever seen!! between the trading cards, poster, and the BEAUTIFUL dust jackets… i’m actually obsessed. this puts me up to 3 vinyl from book adaptations and i NEED more. if you know of any good ones hit a girl up by @whenemmareadabook

💋💋mini review!!💋💋GUYS yall aren’t not ready for this one!! I loved @joss.richard first novel, It’s Different This Time, so I was SO excited to get an early copy of her sophomore novel!Let’s Kiss and Tell follows Lucy, a sex columnist, and Marsh, a news reporter, as they enact a fake dating plan. Lucy needs to appear as if shes in a relationship for her readers and Marsh needs to bring a date to his ex’s wedding, so they decide to fake date until after the wedding. What follows is lots of adorable “fake” dates, the trials and tribulations of working in journalism, and of course - a man who yearns.If you loved It’s Different This Time or How to Lose a Guy in 10 Dates, you are gonna eat this one up. what an AMAZING night!!!like seriously, book event of my dreams. @rainydaybooks you truly outdid yourselves with this one. these 5 authors were some of the funniest people - i spent the entire night cracking up! it was so fun hearing them chat about @christinalauren newest title, The Romance Revival.as a bonus i picked up signed copies of my fav @alihazelwood books because how could i not? The Love Hypothesis is perfect to me so it was a must by @whenemmareadabook
