Been stupid busy lately. My first IPSC match went well. I had a blast. @greater_pittsburgh_gun_club put on a hell of a match. Nothing silly, a balance of challenges, great facility, and all around fun.

It took me the first day to get out of my own head about it’s an IPSC match. Day 2 was, just shoot the damn gun. Went much better after that.

Liked the white targets a lot. Didn’t have an issue with the no walkthroughs beforehand. Only caught myself a couple times indexing on a target during make ready. No warning issued likely because I caught myself quickly and apologized. I even indexed the stage sign once like a dummy 🤣.

Anyone notice that the Cardonians were a rather tall race??? 😅

This match had fun stages, incredibly friendly staff, a great prize table and several special touches by MD/MC/AD @whereareallthealphas that did not go unnoticed (like the round count being visible on every stage). This made it well worth my time, money & travel. Well done 👏👏👏👏

@practicallibrary was clutch supporting the Area 6 Championship. This little banger and the second installment from @ayeayeron_eddins resulted in me figuring out plate swinger timing more consistently.

The @targets_usa plate swinger is one of the best investments I’ve made. This is 18-20 yards on a 4in plate. When I moved up to 10, it was different and I had to reset and glance at the video again. Then it was on. taken in Natural Right Firearms by @whereareallthealphas

Had a fun one in Biloxi with Bill, Austin, Chris, and crew. The 3 per was inspired by stage 14 at Area 6. I even smoked the steel while moving @tomcastroshootingacademy @mclearnoutdoors @willbaileyisatallshooter
Sun shines on a dog’s ass, etc.

Did the IPSC start position. Kinda intrigued about how it doesn’t feel or translate to being any slower but is more consistent. Weird. taken in Coast Rifle and Pistol Club by @whereareallthealphas

This past weekends @theuspsa @area6uspsa Championship was absolutely badass!! The whole match was well ran and stages were beyond great! @whereareallthealphas & @jeremyhughes1881 did such an outstanding job and can’t thank them and staff enough for their time and effort for this match! I will ALWAYS come back to Alabama for this sole reason!

Shooting my @emgcustoms I was able to take home 6th in Open and 9th overall while crushing my goal for the second time this year of shooting a clean major match!

One of my good friends @atalyssabeth followed a select few in our squad for media! She wasn’t there for anyone else but us and herself! Not getting told what to do, not having to try to multitask of shooting, resetting/ or any other silly task that might be delegated to her. Simply for the sole fact of capturing moments and man, did she deliver. If you wanna feel like a movie star in anyway shape or form, hire this girl!! 🤩

This is just a small peak of the footage taken and BAM!! Whipped this banger up!! Hope y’all enjoy it as much as I do!

I kinda liked stage 3 the best. Truly a masterpiece in stage design from @kylenarkum
Had a little position error, but whatevs. Realistically I was shooting for the sheer point of having fun. The previous 4 days let me know that my focus was on match conduct and management first.
This was my first time shooting as staff in the sense of building the stages and getting everything together. It was certainly an experience 🤣 taken in CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park by @whereareallthealphas

Now this was definitely the highlight of the day 😂

Stage 13, end of the day, lighting delay earlier, running on empty, and this squad of RO’s put the biggest smile on all of our faces 🙏🏽 This is what it’s all about, having fun, laughing, and meeting new people and new faces at every stage.
