Nine years ago, I left Brazil and moved to the other side of the world, with no idea of how much this place would shape my life.

Australia has seen so many versions of me. The girl who arrived full of dreams, the one who felt lost, the one who had to start over, the one who healed, grew, changed and slowly found her own way.

It hasn’t always been easy. Living far from home comes with sacrifices, homesickness, uncertainty and so many highs and lows. But through every chapter, I have always felt incredibly lucky to live in a country as beautiful, wild and freeing as this one.

And moments like this make me feel it even more. Riding my bike through a place that still takes my breath away, surrounded by nature, freedom and the kind of beauty that reminds me how far I’ve come.

Brazil will always be my roots, but Australia has become such a big part of my story. It’s where I grew into myself, where I learned to begin again, and where I built a life that once felt so far away.

Nine years later, I still look around and think: how lucky am I that this is my life?

Whale season has officially started, and this is happening right behind my house!

Every winter, the humpbacks make their way up this coastline on their annual migration, and somehow I still can’t believe I get to witness moments like this from home.

Australia keeps reminding me how wild, fragile and breathtaking this world is.

My winter hobby: chasing whales through my lenses, trying to capture even a tiny piece of the magic they leave behind 🐋

Guatemala sempre esteve no topo da minha lista de viagens, e agora eu até questiono se foi por acaso ter deixado por último nessa expedição.

Seis meses pelo mundo, milhares de quilômetros, versões minhas que ficaram, outras que nasceram no caminho.

E foi aqui, na Guatemala, diante do Fuego, vendo a terra respirar fogo, que tudo fez mais sentido.

Uma das coisas mais lindas que já vi e que meu coração sentiu, não só pelo que estava na minha frente, mas por tudo que eu carreguei até chegar aqui.

Talvez nunca tenha sido só sobre viajar ou conhecer lugares novos, mas sim me permitir sentir tudo e seguir os meus instintos.

E lembrar, no final, que eu sempre fui o caminho, e que não poderia existir forma mais única, mais minha, de encerrar esse ciclo… do que com o mundo em chamas diante e dentro de mim ❤️‍🔥 taken in Volcan De Fuego, Guatemala by @whereisbelles
