Is what I’d say to my unmotivated former self 5 years ago…

As a kid I’ve always wanted to make music and my biggest kid dream was to be on stage performing for a live audience at least once. Every year Id wish for this just hoping it’ll come and I’ll just be famous without putting in the work.

What I’ve realized is that it doesn’t just take talent to reach your dreams it requires dedication and putting yourself in uncomfortable places. For me the uncomfortable boundary I’ve had to overcome is social media. Im too scared of what everything thinks when in reality it doesn’t matter and my fears are the only stopping me from reaching my dreams.

Now I have taken away that care and started posting and working more on my music and now there is no barrier between me and my dreams. by @whereisteaka

1. I train MMA and am a white belt in jiu-jitsu. I’ve been training for over a year and even competed in a jiu-jitsu comp, such a good way to stay active and also learn a great skill to have.

2. I love fishing (as you can see). For me it’s the best break from working and helps me disconnect from the world evennn if I don’t catch anything.

3. I have been a graphic designer for most of my working career and use to make motocross graphics which led me to some of my biggest achievements in design. Some of which include some of my designs being in the MX vs ATV legends video game (pretty sick)

4. I started playing guitar since I was 7 and is the reason I’ve always wanted to pursue music as a career. I know I said not about music but eh.

5. I broke my arm in a an arm wrestle. Yeah… an ARM WRESTLE. Seen the videos of it happening to people. Thought it would never happen to me. It did. Would not recommend by @whereisteaka

Had the absolute sickest weekend of the year thanks to @lanii_717 and @bradhornee. Hours on hours of straight heaters for a full night of energy. Couldn’t be more grateful for letting me play at your 30th Lani!! 🔥🙌
