Was the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto worth it?

Here’s my verdict:
If you were a Nintendo kid, this is definitely a Time Machine that you’re going to LOVE. There was so much about the history of Nintendo I didn’t know— like the fact that they started with traditional Japanese card games first .ᐟ You can even join a workshop and make your own traditional card game .ᐟ

My parents back then couldn’t get me a game boy but I had friends and cousins who gave me a chance to play with theirs and I’ll never forget it. 🥹 Which game or console did you start with? by @wheres.arya

One the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I love that it’s in Nara! I😍

The @setre_naramachi in Nara is a must-stay if you want a more quiet and relaxing vibe. They even have a guided morning stroll from 7-8 AM for staying guests! While walking and visiting historical spots such as Ukimi-do Hall, Nandaimon Gate and Kofuki-ji, friendly deers roam the area so you can snap a cute photo with them for the gram!

As for hotel price, it varies depending on the season and other hotel conditions so you can check websites such as booking.com or Agoda for more info. :)

Aaaaall of these are places I’ve been to and I guarantee you will have the best time nature bathing and taking pictures .ᐟ Autumn is my favorite time of the year here in Japan and I’m so glad that I get to share these places that are close to my heart.

Honestly though…

a few things:

- Starbucks surely knows that Pokemon is huge. I wonder why they didn’t put on a big sign. Probably to stay low key and avoid a McDonald’s scenario?

- Interesting to note that eeeverything else can only be bought online. They probably learned from the Starbucks bear mug fiasco. Fair.

- The Pikachu drink was surprisingly not as sweet as I expected it to be. Would I buy it again? I would prefer buying my usual dirty matcha frappe with choco chips. Cute sprinkles, though .ᐟ

- But I’m a victim of the **Pokémon 30th anniversary craze**, so obviously I bought it. 😂

-Honestly, I’m kind of relieved the rest of the merch wasn’t in the store because God knows I would’ve bought **so much more.** And the foot traffic would have been horrendous.

I came to Gotemba for the shopping, but…

I was so lucky to see the Mt. Fuji from there .ᐟ

I genuinely wasn’t prepared for how clear the views would be from an outlet mall??

It’s impossible to go around in one day so this was my gameplan 🔽🔽

The only downside of this exhibition is that

I spent WAY too much time staring at this pot 😂

Pokémon × Kogei tours different cities around the world, so I got really lucky catching it in Hokkaido.
