Not a bad way to spend a day off ⚾️

Ended up at the @kcroyals game in Kansas City, ate way too good, caught one of the best sunsets after the storm rolled through, watched the Royals get the win AND somehow came home with a ball 😂

One of those random nights on the road that ends up being a memory you’ll always remember.

Now back on the bus and on to Denver 🚌 taken in Kauffman Stadium by @wheresbrooksnow

I could post Lake Louise a hundred times and it still wouldn’t do it justice.

Sitting above Lake Louise at Little Beehive never gets old. The craziest part is that no two visits ever look the same. Some mornings the lake is perfectly still, creating a mirror-like reflection of the mountains. Other days, the water ripples in the wind and gives the lake an entirely different look. Sometimes it’s hidden behind clouds, and other times the sunrise paints the peaks with shades of gold.

That’s what makes Lake Louise so special. You don’t just visit it once and say you’ve seen it.
The weather, the season, the time of day, and even the smallest changes completely transform the experience. No matter how many times you come back, you’re almost guaranteed to leave with a different view than the one before.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to take the trip, this is it.

Stop waiting for the perfect time. There will always be another excuse not to go. The mountains will still humble you, the sunsets will still leave you speechless, and the memories will last a lot longer than the money sitting in your bank account ever will. by @wheresbrooksnow

📍Lake Louise & Little Beehive, Alberta 🇨🇦

Some places are worth coming back to.

We started hiking around 2:30 AM, reached Lake Louise before sunrise, and watched the mountains slowly come to life as the first light hit the water. After making our way up to the Lake Agnes Tea House, we waited for them to open @8 so we could grab a hot cider and fresh apple crumble before continuing on.

One of the coolest moments of the morning was watching a helicopter deliver supplies to the tea house, something the staff said doesn’t happen very often.

From there, I ran up to the top of Little Beehive to take in one of my favorite views I’ve ever seen. Standing there, looking over that unreal blue water, was one of those moments you wish you could freeze forever.

And before leaving… I couldn’t resist jumping into Lake Louise again. 🥶💙

I’ve been here before, but this trip reminded me that the same place can feel completely different when you experience it a new way.

📍 Athabasca Glacier, Columbia Icefield

This was one of those unexpected stops that ended up becoming one of the best parts of the entire trip.

While driving the Icefields Parkway from Jasper toward Banff, we spotted the Athabasca Glacier from the side of the road and decided to pull over. What started as a quick stop turned into an unforgettable experience exploring the area around the glacier and taking in the scale of the Columbia Icefield up close.

The views from the top were unreal, and even the fresh glacier water tasted unbelievably refreshing after the hike. It’s hard to put into words how massive and beautiful this place is until you’re standing there yourself.

Definitely one of those moments that reminded me why spontaneous stops often make the best travel memories. 🇨🇦

Icefields Parkway, Alberta 🇨🇦
Famous for its turquoise lakes, towering peaks, and glacier views right off the road.
Runs through Banff and Jasper National Park.
