I’d been looking forward to the (in)famous “Mario Kart” experience in Vietnam ever since my dad first sent me a video of it months ago leading up to my trip. So happy that Gi was down to join in the race 😁. Also grateful she didn’t kill me after I nearly killed her 😬.

I’ll be honest, it took me minute to appreciate the acquired taste of farofa (sand), but I finally understand why Brazilians love it. It’s excellent with feijoada and churrasco, and my personal favorite is the addition of a little bit of bacon 😋.
