POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m a single mum of four who works a 9–5 and only started travelling in the last few years.
For a long time, I believed travel wasn’t for people like me — too expensive, too unrealistic, too far away from real life.
But I started anyway.
With short trips.
With staycations.
With weekend getaways that fit my budget and my responsibilities.
Now I share what I’ve learned — honestly and realistically — so other women, especially single mothers and busy women, can see that travel is possible without luxury, guilt, or burnout.
If you’ve been waiting for permission, this is it 🤍

The best travel advice I’ve ever received was actually very simple: “Don’t try to see everything.
Leave enough room to accidentally find something.”

🍋 Menton might be the French Riviera’s most underrated little escape. 🇫🇷💛

Think pastel streets, turquoise water, lemon treats and an Old Town that feels like it belongs on a postcard.

📍 Save these spots for your visit:
✨ Menton Old Town
⛪ Saint-Michel Basilica
🌊 Plage des Sablettes
📸 The panoramic viewpoints
🍋 Local lemon specialities

My advice: Visit as a day trip from Nice, but don’t spend the whole day at the beach. Wander uphill through the Old Town for some of the best views!

Save this for later and send it to the person you’d explore Menton with. 🤍

Have you heard of Menton before? 👀👇

🇲🇨 MONACO ISN’T JUST FOR MILLIONAIRES…

I thought Monaco would be all superyachts, casinos & designer shops…

And yes — there’s plenty of that 😂

But you can actually explore Monaco without spending a fortune.

✨ Wander Monaco-Ville
👑 See the Prince’s Palace
🌊 Walk around Larvotto
🌿 Find the Japanese Garden
🐠 Visit the Oceanographic Museum
🎰 See the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo
⛵ Wander around the harbour

💡 My biggest tip: Don’t hire a car. Monaco is compact, and walking + public transport makes exploring much easier.

And if you’re coming from Nice? 🚆 Make it a day trip.

📌Save this for your French Riviera itinerary 🇫🇷➡️🇲🇨

Would you visit Monaco — or is it overrated? 👇

A little Nice museum tip that I wish more people knew about 🇫🇷✨

I stopped by Musée Masséna in Nice, and honestly, it’s such a beautiful place to visit — not just for the exhibitions, but also for the building and its gardens. 🌴🏛️

***But here’s the tip 👀: don’t automatically buy a single-entry ticket.

Nice has a €15 museum pass that gives you access to 10 municipal museums and galleries for 4 days / 96 hours. So instead of paying separately at each museum, you can use the same pass to explore several different museums around the city.

Some of the museums included are Musée Masséna, Musée Matisse, Palais Lascaris, Musée de la Photographie, Musée d’Archéologie, Musée des Beaux-Arts and others.

€15 for 10 museums over 4 days is a pretty useful tip if you’re planning to spend a few days exploring Nice beyond the beach and Old Town. 🇫🇷🎨

Save this for your next trip to Nice! 📌

Èze might just be the French Riviera’s best-kept secret… 👀🇫🇷

Okay, maybe not that secret 😂 — but this hilltop village is seriously worth adding to your itinerary.

Save this carousel for when you plan your Côte d’Azur trip 🌊✨

Would you visit Èze? YES or NO? 👇

When was the last time you were completely present somewhere?
Not half-present. Not checking your phone between moments. Not planning the next thing while you’re still in the current one.
Actually, fully there.
For most people the honest answer involves being somewhere new. Somewhere unfamiliar enough that the autopilot couldn’t switch on and presence became the only option.
That’s what travel gives you that nothing else quite replicates.
And it starts — if you let it — the moment you land.
What was the last place that made you feel that way? Tell me below. 👇

🇫🇷 ÈZE — A little village with BIG views 🌊✨

Perched high above the Mediterranean, Èze feels like stepping into a postcard.

✨ Wander the medieval streets
🌿 Explore the Exotic Garden
🥾 Walk the Nietzsche Path
🌊 Take in those incredible Mediterranean views
🌸 Discover hidden corners, galleries & little boutiques
🍷 Stop for lunch with a view
📸 Stay until late afternoon when the crowds start to disappear

🚆 Getting there: From Nice, take the bus to Èze Village or the train to Èze-sur-Mer and walk up.

💡 Tip: Don’t confuse Èze Village with Èze-sur-Mer — the famous medieval village is perched high above the coast, while Èze-sur-Mer is down by the water.

⚠️ What to know: There are plenty of steep streets and steps, so comfy shoes are essential!

⭐ My rating: 9/10

📅 Best time: Early morning or late afternoon. Avoid the middle of the day in peak summer if you can.

❤️ Worth visiting? 100%.
Come for the views… stay for the little streets and that magical Riviera atmosphere.

Delayed gratification is one of the most underrated forces in a good life.
We live in a world that rewards instant. Instant purchase. Instant result. Instant everything.
And so when something takes time — when the intention you set doesn’t materialise in weeks or months — it’s easy to read that as a sign it won’t happen.
It isn’t.
Some things take years to arrive. The timing isn’t always yours to control. But the intention, the effort, the quiet dedication to keeping something alive in your mind — that’s yours. And it compounds in ways you won’t see until suddenly you do.

What are you still holding onto that hasn’t happened yet?

✨ Cannes: come for the glamour, stay for the islands. 🌊🇫🇷

#Cannes #CannesFrance #FrenchRiviera #CoteDAzur #SouthOfFrance by @wheretonext_yas

🇫🇷 CANNES — More than just the red carpet 🎬🌴

Cannes is probably one of the most recognisable places on the French Riviera — glamorous hotels, designer shops, mega yachts and the famous Croisette.

But there’s another side to Cannes that I think is much more worth discovering. 👀

✨ Things to do in Cannes:
• Walk along the famous La Croisette 🌴
• Explore Le Suquet, the historic old town
• Visit Marché Forville and grab some local produce 🥖🍓
• Take a photo outside the Palais des Festivals 🎬
• Wander around the Old Port and admire the yachts
• Take a boat over to Île Sainte-Marguerite 🏝️
• Spend the day exploring the beautiful Lérins Islands
✨ Cannes: come for the glamour, stay for the islands. 🌊🇫🇷

🇫🇷 WHERE TO STAY IN NICE 🌊

Not sure where to book? Here’s the quick guide 👇

💰 Budget: Train Station — easy transport & better prices
✨ Mid-range: Vieux-Nice / Port — atmosphere, food & walkability
🌊 Seafront: Promenade des Anglais — unbeatable views
💎 Luxury: Carré d’Or — hotels, dining & Riviera glamour

📍 My pick: Vieux-Nice / Port for the perfect mix of location, atmosphere & value.

And the best part? Nice is the perfect base for exploring Èze, Monaco, Menton & Cannes by train or bus. 🚆
