Rooted in nature, growing with love 🌸✨ Sharing my contribution as part of the 🌳Tree of Life 🌳 collab hosted by @artisticfolklore @ingenuitybylakshmi @designish_studios @artwort_jyoti 🎨

My chosen artform : Santhal for the month of April

The Tree of Life is a timeless symbol that bridges the gap between the earthly and the divine, representing the beautiful complexity of our existence. Its roots delve deep into the earth, grounding us in our heritage and traditions, while its branches reach upward toward the heavens, symbolizing our aspirations and the continuous cycle of growth reminding us that we are all part of a larger, living tapestry.
Wishing you peace and positivity!

Divine collaboration alert! 🕉️✨
I am thrilled to collaborate with more than 50 artists to bring you this stunning “ Kamal Talai “ painting in Pichwai artform organised by the artgroup @artisticfolklore presented by @ingenuitybylakshmi @artwork_jyoti 🌺🖌️
Together, we’ve brought this intricate artwork to life, blending traditional techniques with modern flair 🌈. The lotus blooms, the colors dance, and the divine energy radiates from the canvas . Kamal Talai, symbolizing the lotus pond, represents spiritual growth and enlightenment in traditional Indian art.

Emergence- Acrylic painting on canvas
.
.

Lot of firsts for me while painting this, first time painted with neon colours, mixing neon with normal acrylic colours, used only brush strokes. I enjoy making fine lines and detailing so this was quite challenging for me and finishing this made me feel so proud.

Ofcourse I gave up on it midway when I was feeling it was not working and stopped working on it for a month. Then finally when one day after inspiration struck, I dived all in and felt that it was going somewhere, finished it in one evening. I totally loved what was created. Feeling sad to see this one go away but hoping it brings joy to its new home.

DM for commission work.

A little piece of home, something to make you smile especially when the festivities are around the corner and you are unable to go home.....

Two of the artworks (rickshaw and taxi) are inspired by two artworks of @ruandchai
I love how she created paintings of the streets of Kolkata and really wanted to try it.

Just finishing touches left, can't wait to frame and hang it.

My first Shreenathji painting in Pichwai....so many things I learnt in this process. I was sure I would never finish such minute details, although details are still quite lacking....but with every stroke I understood He wanted me to finish, so I kept going and trusted the process. And here we are.

Final reveal coming soon....
