Kansas City! Audition for the remount of the sleeper hit of the 2025 holiday season!

Whim Productions is excited to announce that we're remounting Kevin King's My Kid's Christmas Program in 2026, directed by Steven Eubank.

SIGN UP TO AUDITION: Link In Bio

ABOUT THE SHOW: The tinsel’s tangled, the pageant’s off the rails, and Miss Peach’s Academy has lost its auditorium, but the show must go on!

You’re invited to the annual holiday pageant for Miss Peach’s Academy. Forced to relocate to Whim Space after a series of mishaps, the “kids” (played by adults) are ready to belt and blunder their way through a holiday pageant like no other. It’s the holiday program you remember... just with more sass, irreverence, and emotional baggage. A delightfully twisted immersive experience for the grown-ups who survived grade-school pageants.

All the roles are played by adults.

Actors will receive a stipend.

KEY PRODUCTION DATES:
Rehearsal Dates: Nov 8 - Dec 2nd
Off Nov 25 & 26, Dec 1
Off Fridays and Saturdays

Production Dates: Dec 3rd - 13th, 2026

After a spectacular run during the @kcfringe festival, the hilarious play JERRY CHRIST by Christopher Martin is back at Whim Space this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7:30.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be Jesus's brother? He actually had some, but they all got cut from the Bible. Guess they weren't important. This is the story of one of them. Real? Fake? Who's to say? Come step into a day in the life of Jesus's burnout brother, Jerry Christ.

Advance tickets are just $15, no Fringe button required. $20 at the door. Ticketing in our bio link.

Featuring
Jerry Christ: Christopher Martin
Jesus Christ: Brent Custer
Mary Magdalene: Grace Enochs
Mother Mary: Emily Michelle Walton
Joseph: Mason Dredge

Directed by Steven Miles
Lights and Sound by Lane Coukoulis

Sunday Sunday Sunday!!!! We kick off our @kcfringe premiere with a double header. We start this afternoon at 3:30, but if you're trying to beat the heat, switch this after noon delight for a late night shindig at 9:30. See our talented crew perform 4 of our best plays from our first 8 rounds of shows!!! And if you come, you may get the chance to showcase your own talents on stage, and promote your own shows after!!! Story Shots is dedicated to making sure as many voices can be heard, but we need your support too. Our non-profit theatre, @thishappybreed , is how we collect our donations to set up the next rounds of shots. So please, follow the link in our bio to buy tickets at KCFRINGE.ORG, but also take the time to donate a shot's worth of money to our Our Happy Breed venmo to keep this project running. See you sooooooon!!!! taken in Whim Space by @whimspace
