HOT OFF THE NEEDLES! My first, and not going to be last, #MusselburghHat! I threw in some colorwork and I’m so thrilled with the results! It was so easy to work up I just couldn’t put it down!

TLDR: How would you feel about ASL being used to transcribe written text (not spoken) in a video game?

My husband is working on a small video game, there is no speaking, just music and sound effects and everything else is text based.

We are looking to translate the game as time goes on into other languages for worldwide accessibility. Strictly speaking there’s no “need” to have an ASL translation as there isn’t a written form, just English, but English and ASL aren’t the same language. Do you think having someone in a little box signing the text be something you may be interested in or is it a total waste and you’re happy just reading the English text?

I WILL learn/produce cable knits!

I am using two skeins of 100% merino wool fine (2) weight yarn, hand dyed by @kelbournewoolens in Ireland!

Firm believer in this! I’m battling thumb/wrist pain so I’m trying to not grip so hard and I couldn’t make it work on the hook but honestly it works so well with it just on my thumb!!
