✨CatCon Collab✨

Since @whimsyanddoodles will also be vending at @catconworldwide I asked her if she would be open to do a collaboration art piece and am so happy she was up for it! 😻We thought it would be interesting to do Art Nouveau inspired cats with one featuring more embroidery and the other more painted. If you don’t know her work definitely go check out her page her art is incredible. I am very happy with how these pieces turned out and can’t wait to show them off at the event.

We will be in booths T29 and T38 in Exhibit Hall C

This is the more embroidered piece. This is one of the more thread painted pieces I’ve ever done and it was a joy to figure out how to execute the paint strokes via thread.

This is the more paint featured piece. We added some of our usual portrait mixed media flair by bringing out the hat, collar, cloak and some embroidered details around the cat. by @whimsyanddoodles

I want to try and paint one new lil painting a day for as many days as I can. Here is day 1, getting ready for Halloween season.

Just a lil hermit crab feeling spooky.
