🩵 Pop Off! Thank you! 🩵 This past weekend was ConnectiCon and all I have to say is thank you. Thank you to the con for allowing me this opportunity, thank you to the stage crew, the idols for being so supportive and easy going, and the audience for setting new decibel levels this year! The reception was insane! Thank you Darling Idols for giving me my favorite moment on stage I’ve ever had- which wasn’t Pirates Desire believe it or not! It was this little dance break between me, @kaiko_cosplay and @poliswhirld! Our trio combined our interpretations of the mirror video and WORKED IT WORKED IT WORKED IT! It was my favorite moment and it was with two people I deeply respect. It felt amazing! The whole Darling experience felt amazing, as usual. This plan was set in motion a year ago! Most people don’t know (because we couldn’t post on our socials!) but we did a four day bootcamp in Atlantic City a month ago. Being on stage with all of the Darlings reminded me of why this group has the prestige that it does. @dietshampoo organized this incredible show that had so many details- the flags, fans, costumes, collecting 18 DEDICATED PEOPLE (anyone in any idol group knows how difficult that is!), splicing audio, making promo videos and tik toks, it was a lot of work for her! I’m so impressed by Lauren and I’m really happy to call her a friend. Anyway! “I Don’t Care if I Die. None of Us Do. But We’re Not Leaving. We Won’t Be Ignored.” - Pike Trickfoot NO SPOILERS I haven’t watched the last three episodes! Really excited to see Pike take center stage this season though, I really loved cosplaying her. Thank you @squidlyuwu for letting me borrow the outfit for Momocon! I def want to cosplay her more, I felt really pretty! It was really neat meeting @ashleythejohnson who created Pike for @critical_role ! I can’t believe that was her first ever DnD character! Did not enjoy the 3 hour line though haha. I get it, Ashley is popular but woah I thought buying a ticket ahead of time would’ve avoided that. I’m glad I did it though! Loved making dice bags, I am really enjoying workshops at cons this year! I def want to make dice bags for all my characters! The meetup was super fun, even though we were late. Thank you @tts_trash for hosting! I’m sorry I didn’t get to tag everyone, I had such a hard time finding people. Please let me know though and I’ll add the tag! “The greatest joy of magic lies in searching for it.” - Frieren the Slayer Sometimes I think about this anime and cry over how good it is. As corny as it sounds, it has really made me approach TTRPGs differently. Particularly the wizard class which was once my least favorite class to play. I was even intimidated to cosplay Frieren because I feared having to spell her name over and over in the caption but also because I didn’t think I’d be able to embody her well. She’s cute, sure, but she’s really wise. She’s the type of character I don’t think I’d be able to play well in DnD but I’d love to have someone like her at the table.
