my kind of @barcelona ❤️

no checklist. no perfect route… just walking, noticing, getting a little lost and photographing the little beautiful things that made me stop...

a few moments from barcelona i fell in love with, exactly how i saw them…

sitting down with @samarstradi and @angelaarnaout back in may was one of those conversations that stayed with me. i have so much love and respect for them, not just for what they are building with @artfuldxb, but for who they are as human beings…

the way they show up, the way they care, the way they keep putting people and community at the centre of what they do that matters. they’ve created something that feels real, generous and full of heart. i’m genuinely excited to see where artful goes from here, because when something is built with this much love and intention, you know there’s so much more to come…

very grateful for this conversation, and even more grateful for them…

Sometimes the things we create are simply our way of holding on to where we come from. For @kunoozelsaha that happens through food. Recipes passed down, memories of home, strangers gathering around one table, and slowly becoming a little less like strangers…

I spent an evening with Grace documenting the preparation, the chaos, the quiet moments and finally, the dinner itself. A small story about food, identity, memory and why she does what she does…

I spent some time with the BenQ TK705i, but instead of doing a traditional tech review, I wanted to test it the way I actually use gear by creating with it…

In this short visual review, I look at the design, setup, picture quality, brightness, 4K detail, upto 150 inches, 3000 ANSI lumens and what it actually feels like to use the TK705i for photography, films and everyday viewing...

No talking. No long spec sheets. Just the projector, the visuals and my experience using it.

USED. TESTED. CREATED WITH.

there’s something beautiful that happens when artists come together without comparison…

when there is no competition. no envy.
just people genuinely happy for one another…

that’s when an exhibition becomes more than artwork on walls. it becomes conversations, encouragement, shared moments, and the reminder that there is room for all of us…

we don’t rise by standing taller than someone else.
we rise by standing together…

thank you to everyone who made this exhibition feel like a collective built on kindness, generosity, and a shared love for creating and a huge thank you to @avidlearning.me and @fashionsurprises for curating and putting this exhibition together…

here’s to many more spaces that remind us what community can really look like…

the exhibition will be until the 13th of September at @alkhayat_avenue…

thank you @thecryingcanvas for being the blurry ghost in the video…

How a projector turned my photographs into an experience @benqmiddleeast making it happen…

When I started creating The Spaces We Don’t Notice, I knew I didn’t want people to just look at photographs. I wanted them to step inside the work. To slow down. To spend time with each image. That’s why projection became such an important part of the experience…

The BenQ TK705i allowed me to transform a blank wall into a space for reflection. The 4K clarity brought my photos to life, also the auto focus feature just made it easy to reframe the projector every time it was moved accidentally and love how you can have a projection of upto 150 inches cause of which every photograph became larger than life, giving viewers the chance to notice details they might otherwise miss. Combined with the voiceover, it became more than a photo series. It became a journey through spaces we often walk past without seeing…

Sometimes all we need is a different perspective to notice what’s been there all along…

For more details about the BenQ TK705i link is now in the description…

it’s more than just a workshop by @niveen_unas…

because sometimes people don’t come just to learn something new…

they come to slow down.
to meet strangers.
to have conversations.
to create without pressure.
to reconnect with parts of themselves they forgot existed...

what Niveen created was more than a table full of people sketching…

it was moments, conversations, laughter, curiosity, and connections…

and maybe that’s what art has always been about…

hosted at warehouse 56 at @alserkalavenue during the @studiothirteen_dxb blank space residency…

why i do what i do…

because somewhere along the way, i realised photos were never just photos. they became conversations. they became memories. they became ways of meeting people i would have never met otherwise…

whether it’s through photography, film, podcasts, or community activities i simply love telling stories and creating spaces where people feel something…

and if something i create makes even one person feel seen, inspired, or understood… then i know i’m doing something right…

Thank you @uae_storiess for the feature I am grateful…

The Spaces We Don’t Notice, a film by @kennethsagar…

Last 3days of the projection screening so if you haven’t experienced it yet then you must, come to @alserkalavenue @studiothirteen_dxb warehouse 56…

The experience guidance “The room is dark. The pace is slow. Each moment lingers. You may notice things you’ve seen before... but never really looked at. Or maybe you won’t. That’s part of it…”

Couple of weeks into blank space, and the energy has been beautiful…

Curious minds walking in, conversations unfolding, people creating, observing, asking questions, staying longer than they planned to…

That’s the beauty of spaces like this they become alive because of the people inside them…

And we’re only getting started. Our doors are open for more conversations, more connection, and more moments of creating together in the weeks ahead…

Come say hiii…

We are @studiothirteen_dxb, we are at Warehouse 56...

This project was made possible with the support of @alserkalavenue...
