My dad and I took the most breath taking trip to northern Michigan in the fall. The old growth forests were truly incredible. To connect so deeply to natural land was an unforgettable experience. taken in Northern Michigan by @whimsyrover

Life on the mountain 🐣
It’s been a heck of a year for change. A good friend let me borrow some big machines and I certainly put them to use. It’s been really cool learning how to operate them. From my drive way eroding away during a flood and rebuilding that, to brush hogging spots for a cabins, extending my yard half an acre for activities and a seasonal garden, to creating new roads, digging for a gas line, I could go on. Did I put off some other important things to do all that yes 😅 but I’m very grateful for the opportunity.
I’m really not great at taking lots of pictures partially because I bounce around from one project to the other so nothings really ever finished.. yet 🧙🏻‍♀️ but I’ve taken a million steps toward my goals. To many more 🥂 by @whimsyrover

Life on the mountain 🍄
Loving the changes each year brings. Better gardens, more flowers, more animals 🤪, more experiments like ferments, breads, canning and so on. What a blessing to eat from the land. Learn from the land. Have a playground for trying/building new things. Very grateful. by @whimsyrover
