Come with me and join the 30th 竹あかり(Take-Akari festival) in Takayama, Ikoma, Nara! I always wanted to participate in this event but timing was never right. Last year I missed it just by a week! This year there was supposed to be a tea event today that I needed to go, so I thought I couldn’t do it. The tea event got rescheduled last minute, so I was like… maaaaaaaybe this is a sign for me to go??? From where I live in Tokyo to Takayama Chikurinen, one way is about 4.5 hours with 6 train/bus transfers. Many people got shocked during the event how far I travelled for this. I was very nervous all the way, but there’s always gonna be a first time right??? I’m much more confident now - anyone wanna come with me again next year cuz it did feel a little lonely 😅 by @whiskmatchayvr
Just a few of our favourite people doing what we love most: making your matcha 💚 Every cup is made with care, and we’re so happy to share a little piece of our day with you. by @whiskmatchayvr
If you love your matcha strong, you have to try our Matcha Cortado. 🍵💚 It has more matcha and less milk, so you really get to taste the matcha. It’s a must-try especially on a crisp fall afternoon 🫶🏻 . . . . #matcha #matchacortado #matchalover #matchavancouver #vancouvermatcha #matchalove by @whiskmatchayvr
It’s hard to explain the word Dō (道) in English; many times when I wanted to write about it I gave up half way through. We will see if it gets better over times 😅 by @whiskmatchayvr
