🍎 Fun Disney Facts: Did you know Walt Disney was raised in a Christian household (a lot of the original movies have strong Christian references) and that Snow White is a princess who prayed? Make sure you watch the original, not the remake! 👸🏻

🙏🏽 I know God has blessed me with a big heart for a lot of things, and skills to make most people dizzy. I’ve been praying for so long about guidance in a lot of different areas of my life, but so many things in the past few weeks have led to one place, and I’m excited to see what might come of it.

I asked God to reveal one of my next steps this week… and the answer came in an unexpected way at Social Media Marketing World.

“Are you a Disney travel agent?”
I heard that question more than once.

No… but I was once known as a Disney Social Media Mom, and was invited to some pretty awesome and exclusive events. With 40 years of Disney experience, there’s one thing I know well: how to create unforgettable experiences, build community, and help families dream big.

I’ve spent years loving the Disney joy, learning the details, creating content, and sharing that joy with others. As a mom of five, I’ve also experienced the parks through every stage of family life, with each of my kids visiting dozens of times over the years giving me a real appreciation for what makes a trip meaningful for families of all ages.

So maybe all of that has been preparing me for what’s next.

I’ve quietly been reviving an old project behind the scenes, and I have a LOT of content to repurpose.

This may be the beginning of something beautifully familiar… just with a renewed purpose.

🎃 This pumpkin may or may not spook me for a different reason. Read more below. ✨

⏰ September 26, 2010, D23 hosted its very first scavenger hunt and I was 36 weeks (8 months) pregnant with my eldest daughter. It was 107 Degrees in Anaheim that day. Along with one of our favorite Disney families, we puttered around Disneyland with 2 BOB strollers, 3 kiddos and a very pregnant Raquel. It was so hot. We didn’t finish, and we took a photo in front of this pumpkin at the very beginning of the hunt and now it’s a constant reminder of the heat and how we didn’t complete the hunt. 🤣 I read that 575 teams participated.

🏰 I’ve been waiting 16+ years for another big scavenger hunt to happen, and I was trying to find buddies for the hunt that was planned by the amazing @loumongelo at #SMMW26 but that fell through.

🤩 So @d23, this is my official request to do another Scavenger hunt!

😭 Also, I went from going to the parks almost weekly since May, to a whole month off due to the SoCal heatwave. I haven’t been back since my birthday (August 23) and I’m saving my pennies for gas so I can bring my girls back for the Disneyschooling days I promised!

🇵🇭 I’m going to @bridgethegapsd’sCreative Summit! ✨

🤩 I was pretty excited to see that this event was happening at the end of the month, and of course “It’s a Small World,” because one of my favorites who happens to be one of the Filipina creatives who has impacted a lot of my collaborations over more than a decade knew one of the Filipina founders behind this amazing project. Should I be surprised? @loveangelagrace is connected to so many amazing people, and she has taught me to be the connecter I am today.

🥹 As someone who has spent 20+ years building in social media, storytelling, community, and creative entrepreneurship, I know firsthand that creativity isn’t just a hobby, it can become a career, a business, and a way to make an impact. ❤️

🇵🇭 I’m can’t wait to learn, connect, collaborate, and celebrate so many Filipino creators and creatives and I’d love for you to join me! ✨

🎢 Incredicoaster: Does this ride activate Disney Joy or Disney Panic for you? 🤣

👀 For me? Disney Panic. 😂 Once I had kids, I started experiencing vertigo symptoms, so these days I’m happily holding down the fort on the sidelines while my minis live their best coaster lives. 🎢💗

And honestly… there’s something pretty magical about watching your kids experience the rides you love. 🥹 More fun from the sidelines coming soon!

🤩 POV: The Disney Kid grew up and had 5 Disney Kids of her own. ✨

🥹 I was 5 years old when The Little Mermaid came out. I grew up watching all the Disney classics on repeat because we didn’t have cable, but The Little Mermaid was the first movie I remember knowing every song by heart. I would make up my own dances, sing every song, and act out every part with my friends at school and in my bedroom. 😂

🤴🏻👸🏻👸🏻👸🏻👸🏻 And now I’ve had the joy of reliving my Disney childhood with my own kids, from the Disney classics to all the new franchises, complete with the singing, dancing, and theatrics. ❤️

😭 My only regret is that I didn’t capture more of these childhood moments over the past 19 years because, iPhone storage wasn’t always our friend back in the day before iCloud. 🤣

🥹 Watching them love Disney the way I did as a little girl has been one of the sweetest full-circle gifts of motherhood. ✨
