This holiday season, the @whitbyrunningroom Run Club is supporting our neighbours at Glen Hill Terrace, the senior and long-term care residence just behind our store.
The holidays can be especially tough for residents with little family support, and about 25 seniors could really use some extra holiday cheer. ✨🎄🎅🏻🎁
You can help by:
✨ Adopting a Senior – Email Whitby@runningroom.com to receive a wish list and sponsor a resident. (Due by Dec 5)
🧣 Donating Generic Items – We’re collecting fuzzy socks, throw blankets, body wash, body lotion, large piece puzzles, and more! These items can be dropped off at the store in the donation box. (Due by Dec 12)
Let’s come together to make this season a little brighter for everyone at Glen Hill Terrace. 💫 by @whitbyrunningroom

Happy Halloween!!!! by @whitbyrunningroom

Morning run focused on negative splits. Aftn invite to the DRPS Workout with a Cop where several current & former DC students practiced the 20m Shuttle Run & then participated in some HIIT. The DRP Constable Selection Process includes a cardio requirement that candidates reach Level 7 on the "Beep" test - this takes effort, at least 3 or 4 cardio sessions / week. Join me Monday mornings (DC+ME) for some HIIT, Wednesday evenings (Whitby Running Room Run Club) for some cardio and Saturday mornings (Whitby Parkrun) for a 5k timed run. by @whitbyrunningroom
