The IG is changing indexing rules for professional public content. I’ll make a longer video on explaining all the nuances, but out of the gates, know this: your captions and content for relevant accounts is now eligible to be indexed by search engines like Google and Bing. This means that your captions/descriptions and what they say matters more than ever. You know, as things change rapidly with AI. #instagram #contentcreation #advertising #marketing #digitalmarketing @instagram @google @bing by @whitchatswhips
The only thing worse than this idea is whatever is going on with my hair. @generalmotors keeps trying to make #fetch happen. Ehhhh. #cartok #carrant #automotive #silverado #evs by @whitchatswhips
Insert big sigh here… Did you know the average car stays on the road for 12+ years now? Let’s dig in on how this shift impacts Google vehicle ads and sales strategies. #VehicleTrends #MarketingInsights #googleads #automotive #cartok #carbusiness by @whitchatswhips
🦴 Here’s the most bare bones of what’s going to happen to new vehicle pricing in the US. Buy a car now if youre buying new - lots still have units without tariffs. As this shift happens, we’re also going to see incentives dribble down even further. Then it’ll all go in reverse, but at higher prices as we see 2026s hit lots. #carsales #carbusiness #automotivemarketing #ustariffs #fyp by @whitchatswhips
💰 Is Google going to start making weapons while also having a monopoly on paid search while also allowing used car auctions to become a wild wild west of a topic? Maybe. #google #cpc #ppc #paidsearch #automotivemarketing by @whitchatswhips
🛑 GM STOP SALE - I’M THE SUCKER NOW. GM just issued a stop sale for a ton of 6.2L V8s: Silverados, Sierras, Yukons, Suburban, Tahoe. Escalade. More details to come. 🛑 #stopsale #vehiclesales #carbusiness #cartok #trucktok by @whitchatswhips
“BEAT THE TARIFFS” 🦆 Yet again, auto manufacturers are panicking and pivoting. The brands that we saw immediately rush in with “brand protection” measures around distressed language etc. are changing their strategy, alongside changing incentives. It’s not only VW - we’ve seen the approach to tariff-based language change for Mazda, Honda, as well as Ford and others. The thing is: none of it matters until the general population and average consumer understands what the tariffs actually mean FOR THEM. It’s sort of like payments: everyone is going to have their own unique payment based on their credit score, vehicle chosen, add-ons, etc. The impact of tariffs will depend on: age of inventory, brand, components, country of sale, etc. The market needs to know the point blank stuff: not the nuance. #tariffs #automotive #carbusiness #autotariffs #tradewar by @whitchatswhips
