Gordy and Randy aren't gone. Their memory lives on everytime someone posts a clone.

Some of the final vestiges of summer. Labor weekend was possibly the hottest camping weekend that I've ever experienced. My body did not stop producing sweat from the moment I stepped out of my car until the moment I got back in the car the next day. I would not have it any other way.
.
I used to hate camping, but now I find myself looking forward to every trip. It really is such an enriching time to enjoy this fine creation given to us by our Lord.

The mini Mog 14. Remembering Randy.
.
Easily becoming one of my favorite rifle projects. Started as a Ruger Mini 14 GB. Now it has evolved into this. I will be using this extensively. You will see a lot more of this.
.
Join me now in prompting the great manufacturers to bring us the straight 20 round mags. I'm asking again for straight 20 round box mags for the mini 14 - @brownellsinc @magpul @mecgar_usa

Next addition to the mini is an optic mount. A lot of folks are utilizing the scout mounts, and that is probably the way to go for accuracy and durability.
.
I chose to pick up this GG&G mount that mounts to the side and hovers over the ejection port. Is it zeroed? Probably not. I more than likely installed it like a buffoon. I will take this out to shoot and determine if I want to keep it or not. Side note - I'm tall so the height over bore isn't too big of a deal for me. Plus this mount allows me to still use irons.

Tigerstripe time from my latest YT video. Big shoutout to @white_tree_armory for providing the matching rifle sling to go with my top. Alice kit was fun to bust back out, haven't used it in a while. by @white_tree_armory
