Still thinking about this one 🌸💕

Skyler & Katie gave us the dreamiest palette to work with — but can we talk about that wedding party? The mix of sage, soft green and deep emerald dresses against all that color was SO good.

And these two? Absolutely stunning 🥹

This whole day felt colorful, elevated, a little unexpected, and completely their own. We’d happily do it all over again.

There’s gritty behind the pretty. 🤍

I love what I do. Truly. But most of what you see here is the finished part—the pretty picture when everything is finally where it’s supposed to be.

You don’t see the 47 emails before it lol. The proposals, changes, check-ins, designing and redesigning, schedules, timelines, and figuring out the logistics of how in the world we’re actually going to make all of it happen.

Then there’s pulling, checking, wrapping, packing, loading, driving, unloading, setting it all up…and coming back later to basically do the entire thing backwards.

The sweat. The aches. The bruises you don’t even remember getting. 😂 The early mornings and late nights. Weather that absolutely does not care what the plan was. Things break. Things get damaged. Plans change. Circumstances can be hard. People can be hard.

And during wedding season, sometimes you’re recovering from one while setting up another and already planning the next.

Some days I absolutely love it. I get to be creative, make beautiful things and be a tiny part of some really special days.

And some days it is just hard.

Those are usually the days God reminds me that I was never supposed to have enough strength for all of this on my own.

My strength doesn’t have to be enough. His is.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9

So yeah…there’s gritty behind the pretty.

But God is in the gritty, too. 🤍
