From an empty patch of forest to this. “THE WHERECASE” Proud to have led the carpentry team on this spiral staircase for @sevenstarsfest, building alongside incredible carpenters @gravitygardenstudio, @baileyraemakes, and @jay_mf_stone. A lot of hard work, problem solving, teamwork, and care went into bringing this one to life. Big thanks to our creative director @hayitsthamonz w/ MonkeyJean for coming up with such an idea and leading the entire art ops, and for bringing me on and trusting me with this build and others. Designed & drafted by Justin Henderson. Paint by @essidoesit, and much love and gratitude to our entire production team bts for keeping everything moving and supporting us along the way. This one means a lot to me. Grateful to everyone who had a hand in it. Got a wild idea that needs building? Let’s talk. Music: “Apparently” by Random Rab featuring Katie Gray. by @whitesand_gnar
Opening vibes last year with @whitesand_gnar & @fantasieflows 🔥 What stage and surprises will we bring this year?? Tickets in @wildlifesb BIO by @whitesand_gnar
About to take off for Round 2 art ops for @sevenstarsfest Here’s some clips of last years projects I worked on. Made the seven stars light box, worked on the Oroborough stage designed by @matt.heinzler, and some other art sprinkled here and there. This year I’m taking on the role as carpenter lead, let’s do this ⚒️ Thank you @_gatherer for the in, @jay.belo for bringing me on, and MonkeyJean aka @hayitsthamonz for last years and this year’s opportunities. ⚡️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @whitesand_gnar
Last Halloween, you creatures turned Buena Onda into something we’re still feeling, a vibe we have to visit again. The fire. The costumes. The weirdness. The love. One completely wild dance floor. That part was all you. On 10.31, we build it again, but with HABITAAT guiding us deeper into the Wild, alongside your native tour guides @whitesand_gnar & @janeofthejunglee. Ready to get wild? 🐾🎃 @buenaondasb • Santa Barbara Tickets in @wildlifesb bio. #wildlifesb #santabarbara #spookyhalloween #halloween #hauntedpatio by @whitesand_gnar

What I mainly focused on for the @elementsfestival build, Glitter Tongue, A Candy Bar! Stoked to build something like this, and go into so much finished carpentry at a festival. All about it. Creative direction by: @green_megs_and_jam_ Concept by: @julianneirene Built with: @sacredtimberworks (renderings & carp) @brad_oza (carp) Arts Ops Decor Team: Fabricated and installed fabric and decor Art Ops Paint Team: Lead by @happyhannahjoy, who all made it beautiful! Art Ops Team leads: @jay.belo @green_megs_and_jam_ And really, most of this giant art & experience team touched it, hung fabric, moved it, made and added deco, worked on it, painted it, or put some kind of energy into it so again, just like most of all the art around, it was a team effort, we just played with the wood part but to make it really activate, it was so many hands and awesome artists! Swipe for some flow of the steps. by @whitesand_gnar
