Confusion. It offers a state of expanded awareness, a sense of innocence, a certain detachment, flexibility, and a moment to pause. Beneath confusion often lies fear and anxiety. It tends to arise when we’re confronted with overwhelming change, unfamiliar situations, or an excess of choices or responsibilities.

Interestingly, there’s no need to act when confusion arises—much like the stillness one embraces on vacation. It can serve as a break from the weight of overwhelm.

Reflection. Ask yourself: How can I embrace the uncertainty or the need to step back? And what intention do I want to set in this moment?

The character I created for this animation is based on Nicolas Cage's role in a movie entitled, “Vampire’s Kiss.”

Early on in the movie, his character believes that he had been bit by an actual “real” vampire, which (his character thought), in turn, made him into a vampire. However, sadly in the story's reality, his character was not bit by a vampire, but he still believed it to be true.

At night, his character would return to his apartment at dawn to hide underneath his flipped-over leather couch in his living room, which seemed to act as a makeshift coffin.

Feel free to give a watch. You probably might regret watching it. But I however enjoyed it thoroughly.

Ox - modum aeternum

24,000 years in the future, the mere idea of a living organic human has become a myth. Our species long since assimilated into our true form. Trapped in it’s immortal coil, perpetually measuring time and space for eternity.

Sometimes life feels like there’s a lot going on all at once. For me, music really can be a great tool for grounding myself to stay focused in the moment. How about you? What is your method?

Shapes that work there way into our subconscious thoughts sometimes emerge in our art. It sometimes is interesting to recognize the power of our own neuroplasticity.
