Finally posting!!
It was a fun feeling to end my youth international competition where I started my international competition.
I ended up with a 189kg total with a 85kg snatch and a 104kg clean and jerk.
I fought and fought to get myself to that competition and I fought when I was there. Even though I didn’t go 6/6 or get any PRs, I am still forever grateful for the opportunity that I got to compete at such a level in an environment full of high level athletes.
Thank you everyone for your support!

Today marks 10 years since we said goodbye to our sweet Harper. Hard to believe it’s been that long already! It will always feel like forever and just yesterday all at the same time.

Thankfully it doesn’t sting quite like it used to but it doesn’t mean we don’t still miss her every single day. We still wonder what our whole family dynamic would be like and how her personality would be.

The memories of that day will always flood back and the what I could have done different. All we can do is learn from it and do our best to prevent it in the future. We never want anyone to experience this same pain and will continue to fiercely advocate for child safety in and around vehicles as well as in childcare.

We love you Harper and can’t wait to get one of those infamous hugs again! 🦋👼💞

Such an incredible trip to the Youth World Championships in Cali, Colombia! Kins finished with an 82k Snatch & 105k Clean & Jerk, heaviest opener she’s attempted! Though we didn’t have quite the outcome we had planned, Kins still made it on the board and gained more experience. We are honored to represent the United States and are so grateful for these opportunities! Thank you so much to @mgattone64 @pinnacleweightlifting @mackay.madison @bryan.brown24 @wkedmonds @usa_weightlifting & @virusintl for all of their support, coaching, organizing, massage/prep, photography & gear!! Thank you to all of her teammates & other coaches for their cheers. It’s tough to be one of the last athletes to lift. And as always having a teammate to compete/lift with is fun. So proud of our team we have a world champion on it as well! The Women’s team finished 6th overall and the Men’s team placed 5th overall!

It was back to work at camp this past week at the Olympic & Paralympic Training Center. Now to fine tune for the Youth Pan Ams in a few weeks! 🇨🇴🏋🏻‍♀️🇺🇸

Kinsley was recognized at the Spring Hill Board of Education meeting last night for her accomplishments in Weightlifting! She has put in a lot of hard work so it was nice for the administration to see it and honor her. They were just as proud as we are! She shared about how she’s preparing for the Youth World Championships & Youth Pan-American Championships in the next few weeks!

A little update on Geoff….we had a good report from the doctor this past week so that’s been encouraging. His bones are healing well! He’s still stiff and in some pain but he’s slowly getting back to normal. We continue to be amazed by the miracle that he walked away from this accident.
Thank you all so much for the prayers, they are working! Thank you for reaching out to see how we are doing as well as providing meals and other contributions you have given our family. Our kids have taken really good care of us as well, couldn’t do it without them! They are the best!
We appreciate all of the support and feel so blessed! ❤️🙏 by @whitneyrodden
