In our 6 years of running @myde.arsisterskeepergh, it gladdens my heart that for the past 3 years, it has been men who make the move in calling and asking for support and a safe haven for their wives/partners, from this sometimes cruel world of stigmatization especially when it comes to issues of miscarriages, fertility, infertility, still births.......

You see, society still seems to see such issues as purely the problem of women, forgetting it takes two!! So it makes life easy when such men bodly step forward to give a male face to such a sensitive journey, to easily talk about their emotions, mental health, and aspirations, fears and shattered dreams, but especially in shielding their women, from a society that has zero decorum....

On days such as Father's Day, we remember you too, whose dream it is to hold your little ones in your arms too, to play, dress alike too, here's to you, we see you, you are such gallant men!! And however parenthood will come to you......it is a miracle!!

To have one of the biggest shoe designers in the world at Manhyia, 2 months after trending in Ghana for making @badassboz customised shoes with Bonwire Kente is no coincidence......conscious marketing of a national fabric!!

We hope he gets to see Bonwire, and more importantly more designs come out from his atelier in Kente!! @keelywatson

In one of our planning committee meetings this year, Mcing for this year's 10th anniversary Executive Women Network conference came up, I already knew @amanda.akushie will be the one hosting, but then my sis @tonijay76, mentioned me, and said, I will Co host, because she didn't understand why I keep my MCING side to just family and friends, for me, it was the confidence she had in my abilities, another woman shining another's light, so come 1-2nd October, Mcing we did, huge thank you to our Founders, Excomm, and Production team,led by the hardworking Yvonne Ocloo, PMP®

here's the 10 years lessons I walk with:

As Women Leaders, we lead
We led when the room doubted us. We led when we had to work twice as hard to be heard half as much. We led businesses, teams, ministries, homes, often all in the same day, with the same hands.
We led with strength, but also with soft tears no one saw. We led while carrying babies and budgets. While grieving and guiding. While bleeding and building.
For years, we proved we could lead. That we could compete. That we could build, sell, manage, preach, direct, and deliverWe proved it.

But now we are asking a deeper question.Was it worth it if we lost ourselves to gain the world? If we built careers but broke down in our bodies? If we raised companies but had no time to raise our children?

So this next chapter is not about proving anymore.It is about healing, Wholeness. Holistic impact.SELF, For years we put ourselves last. Our health last. Our joy last. Our faith on fast-forward. This next decade, we lead ourselves first. We rest without guilt. We pray without rushing.
We heal from the trauma of having to be strong all the time. We are learning that a woman who is whole leads better than a woman who is merely hardworking. We will be well.FAMILY, They called us superwomen because we juggled everything. But we are done juggling. We are building. We will not be absent mothers building present companies. We will build homes where love lives, not just houses where we sleep. Our legacy is not just what we earn, but who we nurture at our table. Our children will know our voice at home by @whitofmiracles

A week ago, i was a guest speaker at this year's SHE TRIUMPH CONFERENCE, hosted by @deborahoduro and her @she_triumph_conference , I spoke on the topic:

HEALING, GROWTH, AND PURPOSE: A JOURNEY OF LEGACY
Her Blueprint. Her Legacy.

Legacy is not the money in your account. Ghana knows many rich people who will be forgotten two weeks after their funeral.

Legacy is not your title. Managing Partner, CEO, Founder, all that will fade from your business card.

Legacy is who you healed because you were once wounded.
Legacy is who you carried because you once had to crawl.
Legacy is the door you left open because you remember how it felt to be locked out.

I am standing here this afternoon not because I am the strongest woman in this room. I am standing here because I refused to let my pain be pointless.

So I came to challenge you.

Stop hiding your story! Your story is not your shame. It is your weapon!

Some of you are still in the healing phase. Stay there. Do the work. Go to therapy. Pray. Cry. Forgive. But don't build your house in that hospital. You are meant to leave.

Some of you are in the growth phase. You are uncomfortable. You are stretching. You don't fit anymore. Good! Snakes shed skin. Trees shed leaves. You are SUPPOSED to outgrow!

And some of you , it is time to step into purpose. That business you keep dreaming about. That book. That foundation. That apology you need to make. That child you need to adopt. START IT! Start it afraid. Start it broke. Start it while still healing. Purpose does not wait for perfection.

Because at the end of our lives, God will not ask us, "How much did you have?" He will ask, "What did you do with what I allowed you to go through?"

So my prayer for you this afternoon is this:

May your healing be DEEP.
May your growth be UNDENIABLE.
May your purpose be LOUDER than your fear.

And may your legacy be that when you finally leave this earth, someone, somewhere, will stand up and say,

"Because she lived, I did not give up."

It was also a beautiful day to present to the 3 deserving start ups who after six months of intensive training, mentoring and coaching by @omanyeroyalfoundation received seed funds!!

Funerals, if you had told us, that in 8 years, that will be a part of our portfolio, we would have laughed, but here's the thing, when a client trusts you to handle their corporate events, private events, it is extending to their funerals, ........

I am ELROI'S Whitney Boakye-Mensah!

Daytime, Events Olivia Pope. Everyday, Mydearsisterskeepergh.

We are not rookies! We have been at this for 25 YEARS, and 16 years of running, plugging, staging, producing, marketing and PR in the creative industry! Put some respect on our game! Put some respect on our name!

And like my Granny said, I am peerless, it is not arrogance, I earned it, through it all, the betrayals, the tests, back and front stabbing, even when i didn't even see the lights,I trusted the process!!

This is not bragging.

This is testimony.

No shame in genuine hard work!! The results shows,focus on you,your lane and lot,you are your biggest competitor, stand in your light, do not dim it for anyone
