"Ivylong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" 💗Yesterday Ivy Rae Hogge was baptized and Violet Grace Hogge finally got her baby aka toddler blessing by their dad and it was such a great day! 2 for 1 special! It was so fun talking extra with Ivy this week about what baptism really means and she has been so excited. She was definitely ready to make this choice- see the text from my mom near the end as proof. It was fitting that Ivy and all their cousins and friends sang the rainbow song at the end since Violet is our rainbow baby 🌈 All in all, it was a
perfect day. The girlies could not be more loved and supported! Also, a moment for her gorgeous dress😍

My 3rd grader and my straggler. This back to school has hit me hard and I know the little sissy will be missing Ivy just as much. This summer starting off with unexpected seizures and then being unable to drive for 3 months was the last thing I wanted or expected, along with our beloved Hogge family cabin burning to the ground in the Cottonwood Fire. I always hope to send her back to school after a summer full of memories, but I literally don’t have many memories over the last couple months and many of them are traumatic. You only have so many summers with your little kids and I feel sad about this one. Of course there’s a lot of help and support I’m grateful for but today I’m just pretty sad to send her back. I know she will have a great year though! She already scored 3 goals in her first soccer game of the season and has her 2 best friends from last year in her class again with a teacher she was hoping for, so I’m very grateful for that. #optimism 💗💜 thank you for reading my very jumbled and somewhat of a downer back to school post 😂 #backtoschool #thirdgrade #seizures taken in Utah by @whitstagramm

Three years ago I miscarried on Good Friday and through Easter. And then months later on Thanksgiving. And then when Violet finally came, she came on Christmas Eve. My birthday is Halloween. We have a thing for holidays, both good and bad. ANYWAY. So eternally grateful for my girls, husband, and our little family unit. Watching Ivy finally grow up with a sister and the way Violet follows her around and laughs her head off at her is the greatest joy of my life. This baby girl is a STAR!! 🌟💫 She’s been in a musical theater class @utahcopa since August and just had her winter showcase. Her class did a Sound of Music medley and we about DIED watching her!! Especially in that adorable COSTUME! 👧🏼Swipe to see her solo in front of a sold out crowd- loud and proud baby! Was truly the most adorable thing. Also swipe to see more adorable moments and the short clip of her happily clapping during the bows on stage, we loved watching her be so happy to perform. So proud of this girl for doing big things that scare most adults! ✨🌟💫 We got lucky with this one. We love you baby girl🥹❤️
