We had an amazing turnout for our women’s and girls’ BMX program, and even better, we welcomed more girls who had never ridden a BMX bike before! 🙌🚲 Watching new riders get on a bike, learn the basics, build confidence, and experience the BMX community for the first time is exactly what Breaking Barriers BMX is all about. 💪💗 A HUGE thank you to our amazing women’s coaching staff and every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and experience to make the day special. Whittier Narrows BMX hosted its very first Breaking Barriers event this past Sunday! 💪🚴‍♀️ Our goal was to encourage girls and women of all ages to get back on the track, break barriers, and show the world that WE CAN DO IT TOO! A HUGE thank you to our amazing coaches @ctomei87 @chrissypiper @madiebradenbmx @katie_bmx @highfivebmx, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support us and help make this event a success. @_toodinefor_ for your guidance and time with the grant.
