We’re excited to welcome @midnighttraffic to the latest edition of the WHiTMIX series.

Dive into the deep, hypnotic soundscapes of Midnight Traffic, the alias of Hyderabad-based DJ and producer, Rishi. Weaving intricate textures, hypnotic rhythms and considered sound design into immersive compositions, he creates a sense of movement that feels both cerebral and deeply atmospheric.

This offering unfolds through patient progression, subtle shifts and layered textures, gradually drawing the listener into its own world.

With almost a decade spent honing his craft, his productions have appeared on Qilla Records, The God’s Planet, Charybdis Records and Crescent London, alongside independent releases on Bandcamp. ZANDOLY is a Franco-Caribbean DJ, producer and art curator whose sonic identity is a bridge between old school heritage and contemporary electronic exploration.

While her foundations lie in the echoes of dub techno, her evolution has led her toward a nostalgic and hypnotic pulse. In theirs productions, she crafts a world where rhythm meets the unexpected, weaving together relentless techno loops, absurd bleeps, and expansive ambient layers.

A dedicated vinyl enthusiast, ZANDOLY mixes analog texture with digital precision to build sets that function as narratives.

Beyond the decks, as a FLINTA–BIPOC artist, ZANDOLY is a dedicated advocate for the representation of underrepresented communities, artistic freedom, and the preservation of techno heritage.

A look back to the first morning of the year, where a group of people scurried to the outskirts of Stockholm after various celebrations to the shift of the twelwemonth. other joe (Naarm / Melb) is a producer and DJ, a key Australian representative of the dub ambient scene that is deeply popular worldwide.

joe’s productions have been dubbed ‘fogscapes cleaved by strobe, sun dapples on a bedroom wall’ - and his DJ sets take a similar approach, some hazy and dubbed out, and others soft and intimate. check out his mixes for NTS, the lot and kiosk radio, fake rolex, delayed, etc, and his releases on Ian Kim Judd’s OST, Theory Therapy, Bedroom Suck, and Best Effort.

joe’s live set strips back the productions and enlists some of Melbourne’s finest producers as instrumentalists, filling the space with live drums, guitar, bass, keys, saxophone. 0s become 1s, 1s become 0s. the result is expansive and true - as much indebted to The Field or Boards of Canada as it is to Robert Glasper.

Producer and DJ @wigsssss_ joins the agency, bringing with him a sound forged across electro, techno, prog and trance. Having first emerged through electro releases as Will Ortiz, his evolution into the Wigs project reveals a deeper focus on melody, atmosphere and movement — lush, aquatic soundscapes built for both home listening and the dancefloor.

Now based in South London, his work has found homes on respected labels and support from key selectors across the scene. A new era begins here.

A longtime creative worker in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, her practice thrives at the intersection of mediums and hybrid experiences.

Sentimental words from Ayash herself:

“I had my shifting listening experience for this recent five years after the pandemic, especially through nature and my journey to ancient cultural sites related to our ancestors in Java.

I tried to translate those encounters by reinterpreting them through my sonic selections into a much deeper, atmospheric, and strange energy, like the long tunnel state of existence that moves between their memories and our existence.”

We warmly welcome Dani & Irimias to our WHiTMIX series with a live recording from their 2024 set at MNMT festival @mnmt.no

The Stockholm-based diggers discovered a shared love for diverse flavours of music, through their initial connection at Monument in its inception years. Forging a long-lasting friendship you can feel reflected in their mix.

“We had a lot of fun playing this set together as we felt a lot of freedom to do our own thing with the timeslot (23:40-03:30), playing on the second stage (Haven) and knowing the festival very intimately. It was especially fun as we had played there the year before as well together with @celadon___ , opening the main stage on Saturday. So to get to do a night time set with some weirder selections was a blast.

This section of the mix is from the middle of the set and we felt it represents the overall mood the best.”
