Today, my 93 year old father, Donald Leo Dietmeyer, passed away in his sleep. The Maple Tree was probably his favorite place to go! We are here, reminiscing and drinking Southern Comfort Old Fashioneds (sweet with extra fruit), his favorite. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree😉. I will miss him so much🥰. I already do. taken in Maple Tree Supper Club by @whoa_88

As I close out my 57th Year (58 is just a few hours away!) I feel incredibly blessed to have had such a great year including a trip to France, a new job, conquering 75 Hard, and many, many Dietmeyer (my family of origin) celebrations (retirement, wedding, 90th birthday party!). by @whoa_88
