During @olden.residency this summer 2026, I conducted a workshop called ‘Mutual Engagement’, a way of looking at time spent creating past projects and turning their details into an asset of future. Using vector shapes collected from my personal archive, the idea was to take your time to explore overlays, juxtaposition and materials with a DTF print of various forms (stroke, expanded shapes, combined shapes).

These are a few memories of that workshop. We worked together to create clothing pieces, explore on paper and customize our covers.

This summer 2026 I had the pleasure of participating in @olden.residency 3rd Chapter.

During a one week stay at this incredible location we played around with the theme Temporality. This are some of excerpts from a publication developed through the week with a few explorations from my end: vector creations from years ago turned into new formats with riso print colors, a recipe page from all the group’s collective dinner through the week, a letter from my first day there and a text (flux written) about a conversation during dinner regarding ‘ugly’ design and the supremacist European design that is taught around us.

More to come regarding the workshop I did during that stay soon!

This year, we are gathering at Kvia in Olden around the theme TEMPORALITY.

Temporality refers to the condition of existing within and being shaped by time. It draws attention to the temporary, transient, and fleeting nature of life, matter, and events.

Throughout the week, we are exploring how different experiences and understandings of time shape the way we live, work, create, and relate to our surroundings. Rather than working towards a defined outcome, we see the residency as a space for exploration, exchange, shared time, and opening up new directions.

We did bring our riso printer though, so some printed traces will most likely find their way out of the week.
