From London to Lagos, a journey that inspired the world, and I had the honor of bringing the story to life. One year later, we celebrate not just the road traveled, but the courage, grit, and dreams that made it all possible.
Grateful to have been part of this project and thanks to @thebeckyjoe who trusted me and my creativity with this powerful project.

Here’s to bold dreams, brave hearts, and unforgettable stories🥂🍾🎊

A little BTS from our interview with the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos.@micheldeelen 🎥

The one-on-one interview with the Consul General was part of the deliverable I had discussed with the Comms Team @lagosshapers

But good interviews begin long before lights, camera, action.

The first step was research, understanding his diplomatic journey, his experiences and identifying the questions that would make the conversation relevant and meaningful to young people.

Before we rolled, we also had a quick debrief to align on the direction of the conversation. And in between questions, we allowed room for light conversations and exchanges to ease the mood and make the interview feel more conversational.

Those moments will definitely not make it into the final cut but were absolutely a ‘not to be missed.’

Grateful we did a good job @whoiskeem @milan_documentaries , sharing video soon.

We’re still taking it all in. 💙

Our recent Meet the Leader Series with Dr. Niyi Adesanya @nadesanya was more than a breakfast conversation. It was an opportunity to bring the vision of the MTL Series created by @globalshaperscommunity of @worldeconomicforum; creating meaningful spaces where young people can engage leaders, exchange ideas, and gain perspectives that shape how they see leadership, purpose, and their own potential.

But don’t just take our word for it.

👂Hear from some of our Shapers as they reflect on their experience meeting with Dr Niyi.

🎥 Press play. You might just find a perspective that stays with you.

Thank you, Dr. Niyi Adesanya, for sharing your time, wisdom, and experience with our community. 💙

Ideas exchanged. Perspectives challenged. Connections strengthened. 💙

Through the Meet the Leader (MTL) Series, we create spaces where young people engage with leaders, explore critical conversations, and gain perspectives that inspire action.

We were privileged to share one of the Consul General’s final evenings in Lagos, exchanging stories, insights, and ideas with our community before he begins his next chapter as Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

🎥Watch moments from a conversation that reminded us of the power of dialogue and the impact of creating spaces where young people and leaders can learn from one another.

Thank you to the Consul General, Michel Deelen and @nlinnigeria for opening this space for connection and learning.

We also appreciate the @globalshaperscommunity and the @worldeconomicforum for creating the Meet the Leader Series, a platform that continues to bring young people closer to leaders shaping the world. 🌍
