Lightning, Smoke, and Thunder (CineStill 800T, 2026)

I recently visited Victoria falls in Zimbabwe; also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya in Kololo, it translates to “The smoke that thunders.”

I ‘unfortunately’ let some light leak into the back of my film camera which sacrificed some pictures in return for imprinting the colors of the rainbows directly onto the negatives (these pictures have not been edited). Mosi-oa-Tunya is known for its rainbows; you can see the facade in the second picture, but the light leak forces a focus on silhouette rather than color. I appreciate that it provokes a closer look for details, and captures the aesthetic like a distant memory.

And thanks to @domonique_cynthia who made me realize not everything needs to be edited or collaged. Sometimes it’s just unnecessary work. taken in Victoria Falls by @whoistedde

Spring cleaning day 15 — had a layover in Abu Dhabi and decided to check out the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque; I wasn’t expecting to be left in a state of awe for days afterwards. The intentionality in design and detail was inspiring, and the grandeur lent itself to the spiritual importance of the temple. 10/10 would recommend

Sandstorm interpretation by TEDDE (Mereba, not Darude), w video from Brazil c. 2026

In the vein of just starting things, I’ve been wanting to post more covers for soo long but I had a certain vision—it had to be properly recorded into audio software, I had to have a full version on YouTube etc. but I recorded this on voice memos and edited it in an evening. I forgot how efficient you can be when you’re having fun.

I first covered this in 2023 and obviously had to change some of the lyrics, but it made it more of a personal interpretation. Really proud of this; both the work, and taking action. taken in Brazil by @whoistedde
