a moment I’ll never forget 😎🔥🎤

STORY TIME: I’ve yet to share the full video on social media, but 3 years ago I hit #TheVoice stage as part of the Knockout rounds with my rendition of “Pretty Brown Eyes” (Breakin’ My Heart) by the legendary @mintconditionofficial, who was gracious enough to even reach out & show love afterwards 🙏🏾 I was super excited to know that was the song I was going to perform & I put my all into it!

Although I was eliminated following this performance, I was extremely proud of my performance & I enjoyed every single moment. I learned something valuable in this moment that will carry me wherever I go!

No matter what profession you’re in or what your passion is, if you’re given an opportunity to shine & showcase your gift, don’t worry about the outcome, or what you think might or could happen.

Go, give it your all, & be the best that you’re able to be in that moment. God doesn’t open any doors that aren’t meant for you to open, so when they swing open, walk boldly & show the world just WHO YOU ARE!

Although not perfect, I think I did just that with my final performance & the doors have continued to open ever since. If you’re reading this & you think the sky is the limit…there’s so much even beyond it.

Keep dreaming, keep believing, & keep shining as on you can & most of all—keep moving forward! Your light can & will ALWAYS shine. Love ya’ll 🙏🏾💡❤️‍🔥💯

2 years ago today, my blind audition from Season 24 of #TheVoice aired on the season premiere, which went on to become one of the Top 10 most watched non-sports related television events of that week, watched by 5.96 million viewers. I was catapulted into an incredible journey that made me stronger, challenged me, & made me realize why I’ve fought for this my entire life. When filming my audition, I can’t describe how nervous I was 😅 I was terrified. My voice wasn’t cooperating that day, as I was adjusting to the new climate environment, I could barely hear myself on stage—but, I vaguely remember looking out into the audience & seeing my parents on the side cheering me on changed my entire mindset. I got onto that stage & gave everything I had like it was my last time! I’ll never forget it. I don’t regret a single thing from my time on the show & my life is now better because of it. Shout out to the entire crew from the show, as well as all the incredible artists & fellow friends I’ve made from my season & beyond! I am incredibly grateful to be part of such amazing company. #TEAMLEGEND for life baby!! 😎🔥❤️‍🔥💯

I am a proud voting member of the #RecordingAcademy & it’s an honor & privilege to not only be able to advocate for other creatives in the field, but it’s also my passion to create & tell my own stories within my personal art.

This year I was able to release my first body of work in 6 years, titled ECLIPSE — a labor of love I worked incredibly hard to build & it took a massive amount of courage to put it out into the world, but I am grateful I did.

#GRAMMYs voting begins just shy of a week from now & I’d love for my fellow RA members to consider ECLIPSE as we go into this exciting season of music!

To all of the artists & creatives out there—tell your stories! Whether it’s fearfully or fearlessly, create your art. Sing your songs. Someone in the world needs it or they will need it along their journey.

I am grateful for my gift of song, but I am even more thankful to be a creative/artist/storyteller just as much as I am thankful to have those to share it with. Love ya’ll 🙏🏾❤️‍🔥💯💯

I can’t believe it’s been 1 MONTH since releasing my newest album ECLIPSE! I was hesitant to release new music after my previous album PRIMITIVE 6 years ago, but I think this is my best music to date & I am incredibly proud of the work that was put in, as well as the message of every song I poured my soul into.

Thank you for purchasing, streaming, sharing, & listening! It means a whole lot & I hope you continue loving this music as much as I enjoyed creating it. As an independent artist, it truly means the world—I can’t express it enough! There’s so much more to come & can’t wait to continue exploring the world of ECLIPSE. 🌗 If you haven’t heard it yet, check the link 🔗 in my bio or at your favorite digital music outlet. Love ya’ll & I appreciate all your support. ❤️‍🔥💯

I love impromptu musical moments. 🎤🎶

Still reeling (& resting 😮‍💨😅) from the past few weeks’ shows, but I’ve been enjoying reliving a lot of the unplanned moments onstage where I was able to just soak in the music & what the songs mean to me.

“Colors” is probably my favorite song on my new album ECLIPSE & I don’t know what happened the night of our Judson’s Live show in Orlando, but as I was trying to end the song, it turned into a 10-minute flow that I couldn’t escape…that’s the beauty of music. Live music. I put my heart & soul into everything that I put out & I enjoy every moment of being able to express that in front of a live audience.

Shout out to my incredible band for going on the journey with me until we got to our destination safely 😅 love ya’ll. No tuning, here. No AI. No lip-syncing. No perfection. But, I hope you enjoy a little bit of this moment as much as I did! Check it out & make sure to download my new album, ECLIPSE - OUT NOW ON ALL DIGITAL OUTLETS. Link in my bio;) 😎❤️‍🔥
