PEONIES IN THE PARK: the Chefs

One of our favorite events of the year (and definitely the prettiest!), this year's first-look & culinary showcase that kicks off the annual Indiana Peony Festival was absolutely stunning. The weather was perfect, the floral installations were gorgeous, the guests dressed to impress and the Chefs had so much fun!

A huge THANK YOU to the team of Chefs who spent Friday night serving delicious bites for this fundraiser, and the crews who held it down at their restaurants so they could be here with us!

^these are some of the best Chefs in Central Indiana - give them a follow and visit their restaurants!

This event is the best way to see the unbelievable artistry of the Festival's floral designers. We are in awe of your talent!

@whonphoto Chris captured the picture-perfect moments beautifully, as always!

Kelly, Mack & Lindsey - and your incredible team of volunteers - thank you for all your efforts to make this year's VIPP event and Festival the best yet. We are honored to partner with you to put on Peonies in the Park!

This night couldn't have happened without the generous sponsorship of @cchalaw Thank you!!!

Special shoutout to the @noblesvillein & @noblesvilleparks for all of the behind-the-scenes work to make this happen and keep our guests safe.

Until next year... 🌸🌸🌸 by @whonphoto

If you love @chaovietstreetfood let us give you even more reasons to love them with our most recent interview, now live on the @thirdspaceindy YouTube channel!

They’re making almost everything in-house, from their ice cream and lacto-fermented hot sauce to Vietnamese yogurt and even their own pâté. In our conversation, you’ll hear how Dr. Vu and Carlos got into the industry, why they chose to work with local farms, and everything in between.

Shout out to @whonphoto of @okayest_cook for the video, audio, and post-production work.

Thanks to @findalottolove and a couple of @amandainindy followers for making small donations to help make this happen!

And a HUGE shout out to @chaovietstreetfood for hosting us, taking the time to sit down with us, and sharing your food with us.

There’s no way you’re heading to Speedway and not stopping at @borageeats @amandainindy and I sat down with owners and chefs Zoë Taylor and Josh Kline to hear more of their story in food, how they opened Borage, and their decisions when it comes to what is on their plates.

Thanks to @okayest_cook for sponsoring this episode through video, audio, production, and helping us eat! We hope we’ll have the man behind @whonphoto at all future interviews.

Find this episode on Youtube on my channel Third Space Indy.
YouTube only this time around, don't want to put Chris's incredible work and effort to waste!

If you’d like to contribute financially to this series, let us know! We’d like to be able to use your support to leave at the restaurants we interview because they’re taking the time out of their busy schedules to give us food and talk with us when they easily could use that time to prep or do something else.
