The upcoming single by @johnkimfaye will feature strings performed by members of @erinfoxandthehounds !!

Here’s a clip from rehearsal with John Faye, Erin Fox ( @whoserinfox ) Thuy Nguyen ( @_thatviolinchick_ ) and Jon Salmon ( @j0natron )!! 🎻🎻🎻

Tracking will happen at Studio Four with Ron DiSilvestro ( @drummeron ) engineering. This will be John’s first solo recording that also features all the members of his live band, including Ron on drums, @joey_ditullio on guitar, and @mike.vivas on bass! Look for “The Hill” this fall!! 🍂

Special guest opening set by Erin Fox!  Each story in this show will transport you back to the classrooms (and life lessons) of our youth.. or John’s youth anyway 😉  We encourage you to come dressed like you did back in your school daze. It’s been over a month since Uprooting was released. I’m so grateful for the love it’s received thus far.

Now that this album is out, I’m giving some more love to a few other musical projects this Summer, but you can catch me again playing these songs live in the Fall (more on that soon).

Proof of life. Grateful to see such wonderful people lately.

Been burning the candle at all angles these days between jobs, but I’ll be back to gigging soon.

Been having fun writing music with my sister @katie_a_fox and @katbohnafide in our heavier project @trauma.response.phl
We admittedly don’t enjoy posting much on social media at all tbh but you can certainly follow us and we’ll at the very least let you know when we leave the basement 🖤

Where do I even begin?

I am so full of gratitude and joy (and exhaustion…the good kind) after Thursday night. I don’t have the words to express how lucky I feel to know so many beautiful people who showed up in the biggest of ways.
I’ll cherish the memory of this day for the rest of my life.
THANK YOU to each and every one of you who was there and helped in any way big or small to make it so special.
