Blackberry Season out on Soundcloud, Subvert, & Bandcamp. Last year I set out to start a new project. I wanted to blend the dark sounds of my Boneyard Shepherd EP with the soundscapes from the East End project. After linking up with @chaos__model we headed out to the outskirts of Barking with a field recorder each. Overall it was a really nice day, but the sheer amount of blackberries really stood out to me. When I got back, I started writing this new piece, inspired by the recordings we’d gotten, and the name Blackberry Season landed, which ended up becoming the title track for the EP. Over the past year, the direction of my music has taken a slight turn. It’s gone from somewhat experimental leftfield bass music to more stripped back, deep and dark 140. To showcase this, I’ve put together a mini mix featuring a selection of tunes that I’ve produced which you can listen to in full on YouTube and SoundCloud.In this mix there are tunes from my recent @ldh_records release, forthcoming @gooddub.bmr and @fortress.ldn , a collab featuring @dillyaintdead , and a whole lotta dubs. I’m calling this the Blackberry Season. by @whoskunas

What is good my friends! So much is going on at the minute. If you haven’t noticed already, the Boneyard Shepherd EP was released over on @ldh_records this week. Huge shoutout to the lads for making this release happen! This EP marks a shift in my production ~ expect a lot more 140 moving forward.Next I’m gassed to announce that I’ll be behind decks at @planet.wax alongside @yesssssir @dee.dee_licious and @diffriend on February the 6th. I’ll be playing all dark 140 to celebrate the Boneyard Shepherd project.Just after, I’ll be performing with the goated squad @fortress.ldn down at the Greyhound in Peckham on the 19th of February. The lineup for this one is absolutely packed, expect a whole bunch of heavyweight nonsense! by @whoskunas
