Can’t even say people didn’t believe I’d make it. It was just my job to prove to myself that I could do it — and do it well.

To A&T, thank you. Coming here was the best decision of my life. I walked onto this campus four years ago not knowing what was ahead, and I’m leaving with memories, lessons, and relationships that will stay with me forever.

First, I wanna thank God for guiding me throughout my time at this illustrious university. To my mom, dad, sister, and the rest of my family — thank you for your unwavering love, support, and guidance. None of it went unnoticed. I love you all.

Thank you to the College of Engineering, New Student Programs, GELP, and the Fan Engagement Team for helping shape me into the man and engineer I am today.

To all the friends I met along the way — y’all became family. Shoutout Dream Team, and shoutout The Guys. From Backpack Boyz to Chaingang to The Men, y’all were there with me through it all. Love y’all forever.

Leaving is hard, but I’m excited for what’s next after I walk that stage tomorrow. After graduation, I’ll be heading to California to work full-time as an aerospace engineer at Northrop Grumman. West Coast, wassup! As a black man, this means so much.

Thank you A&T for the best four years of my life. Tomorrow I will officially be an alum of the best HBCU and #1 producer of black engineers, North Carolina A&T State University.

To K.O.K.,
My road dogs. My brothers. Thank you all for being there for me no matter what. You all challenged me to hold myself accountable, even in moments when I felt it wasn’t necessary. Y’all have truly shown me what it means to have brothers and there is nothing quite like the bond we share. So many different personalities and ideals that makes us who we are… 34 K.O.K. We’ve done so much with so little for so long… literally. Love y’all boys with everything I got. I wouldn’t trade you all for anything and always remember, as it pertains to anything in life, WTNFTN.

To my Pros, Dean, and ADPs,
Thank you all for taking a chance on me, taking the time to pour in to me and really show me what it means to be apart of the BEAST. There truly is no other chapter like Alpha Nu. Y’all showed me what it means to be overcome obstacles and be a good brother through and through. Couldn’t thank y’all enough. All the guidance won’t go unnoticed. Much love to y’all. Especially my Dean and ADPs who helped bring me in. And to Prince, my dawg, words can’t explain how much I appreciate you for everything.

To the neos, THE NAVY,
Watching y’all grow has truly been nothing short of amazing. You all have shown so much poise and ambition since joining this chapter. Always remember to GUARD THE GATE. Continue to embody what the stANdard is. The yard belongs to y’all now but I guarantee that was never a question.
