Sometimes we feel behind. We may not have the world’s possessions that our flesh classifies as value. In this season I’ve learned sometimes less is more.

Sometime’s we look to far ahead when God has you exactly where he wants you. He might be preparing you. He may be building your patience. You may even be once step away from your breakthrough. Slow down, and be where your feet are located and not into the next day that’s not promised!

Throughout my 2 years of training the gym has helped me build many characteristics that are used in my everyday life.

I was taught how to not quit when things got harder.

How faith without works is dead and how patience comes with time.

It was many days I didn’t want to go the gym or wanted to cheat a set but here lately I’ve told myself “you have to push through here, so in other aspects of life I’m trained to push through the tribulations life will give.”

Training not only got me fit but it also has been a gateway for all@around evolution! To God be the glory❤️

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve my peers, support staff, and represent this institution as an ambassador.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me and allowed me to lead. Serving is something I truly love, and I will never take that for granted.

On April 24, 2022, I witnessed my friend pass away due to a drive by shooting. Two months later, I started Ram Training Camp carrying fear, anxiety, and trauma I never truly had the chance to overcome.

But God.

That is all I can say, but God. Four years later, who would have thought I would become one of the highest forms of an ambassador for my illustrious institution, an institution that, by the grace of God, saw potential in me even when life felt heavy.

When I arrived at Huston–Tillotson University in the summer of 2022, I never imagined I would become this. To all Rams and future Rams, let this be a testimony of what God and good fRAMily can do. If you extend your hand and accept the blessings, mentorship, and opportunities given to you, success can follow no matter your background or where you come from.

HT, thank you for the memories, mentorship, love, and for believing in my leadership. ❤️💛🐏

To God be the glory. Without Him, none of this would have been possible.
