When I tell her it’s time to do cardio at home instead of at the gym.

My gma always told me no matter what you achieve never let it feed your ego or get to your head. Stay true to who you are. I see so many people win a few little things & become full of themselves & look at others like they are beneath them. I see it often & I just laugh & smh. I do my best to treat everyone with the utmost respect no matter how much I’ve achieved & who I know I will always remain humble & treat people with kindness. I need all my blessings & I’m thankful God keeps blessing me. So no matter what you achieve never let it change who you are. Because God gives & God can take it away.

Deep core memory. I can remember this because this was when I had moved to Illinois from Indiana. My sister moved me from Gary Indiana to K3 Illinois. I went through a lot so she tried to put me in a better school & that school was not a fan of me, got called to office & was constantly asked about gang affiliation because of colors I wore, sent me to an alternative school & told me I can still graduate. Guess what that was as a lie so I dropped out & got my GED. Me loving football & not being able to play because of school & what I lost. I instantly played semi pro after I got out of jail for something stupid. I remember the coach telling me I great of a wide receiver I am because I could run every route, had great hands, & I was fast. He told me he could help me get a walk on at a few D1 schools but I was still too hurt & angry. So a year later I went to an arena tryout with a teammate in Chicago & that’s when it all started for me & pro arena football. So I look back at this & can say as a teen did I lose it all yes in my early 20’s did I struggle & lose a lot while learning yes. But it made me the man I am today. The athlete, the mentor, the man, the coach, the trainer, the business man I am today was shaped by those moments. I’m proof that you can come from nothing, have opportunities, make mistakes to lose them & I work your ass off to gain it all back plus more. Now everyday I’m living in answered prayers & blessings. by @wi11_showtyme

Be patient at the right time it’ll all happen.

After playing pro arena football for 8 years while also playing semi pro I can honestly say I miss it & miss training for it. I’ve played in nice arenas, & I’ve played in some bogus arenas. I’ve made great money, & I’ve made not so good money. I wish I could put all my highlights on here but that would require access to my old Facebook account 😂. Sometimes I want to come out of retirement because I know I can still play I can still run a 4.45 forty as well. But honestly I enjoy mentoring & training the next generation of athletes. I’ve never been one to be cocky about me playing or about who I’ve trained with or know I’ve always remained humble. I mentor kids & teach them the skills needed to be great young men & athletes. As a man that went through prison, anger management, being looked at as crazy because of being a trained fighter that would punch anyone that said the wrong thing to me, mental health issues, & then being able to make that change in my life to be better, finish college, own a business plus so much more. So I take high regard in mentoring the youth & being a light for the next generation. by @wi11_showtyme

I’ve been super busy lately so I haven’t been really recording how I normally do but I’m getting back to it. Also I’m working on something & I can’t wait for you all to see it it’s amazing & will resonate with a lot of people. I’ve been blessed in so many ways. I will remain humble & not let these blessings feed my ego, I will spread joy, be a light, & keep working hard.
